Ok the first question is one i keep trying to get answered.

    1. When you're in animation editor, is there really no way to animate the pokemon when you do an attack? (Such as a tackle annimation, when the pokemon kinda lunges forward, as if it is tackling or moving)

    Also question number 2.

    2. is it possible to make a party like system? Such as, can i get like trainers to follow the main character, and just in case they get involved in a double battle, then the other trainer can throw in his pokemon. I think it's been done before in the official games, i dont know about essentials, i also kinda want it to where you can look back and speak to them. a little bit like the pokemon system in HG AND SS.

    1. I'm pretty sure, if you press the "L" button after highlighting the Pokémon, it removes the padlock and it is now moveable...

    2. Check the wiki for dependent events, those are what you are looking for and common events are how you would talk to them... This is easy, and you would have known this if you checked the wiki first...

Please look there in future before asking any questions like this, Maruno and the rest of us haven't made that wiki what it is today for nothing you know

    1. I already know how to unlock them, ive tried to annimate them when i figured it out but it does not annimate the pokemon moving.

    2. And i check the wiki multiple times

    Code:
    Kernel.pbAddDependency2(
    @event_id,"Nici",7)

@event_id, is this event otherwise add the event id number.
Nici, is the name of the EVENT.
7 is the COMMON EVENT used.
All this is added VIA a script event.

Ah I remember now, I believe this seems to have come from the new update, the animations used to work fine, I noticed this myself, the only thing you can do is use an older version and import them into your game.

God, i must be missing alot, now the freaking essentials is starting me off from test map 2

    1. Move animations with a position of "Screen" will also let you move the Pokémon around. A position of "Middle" will not. The existing animations may not have the appropriate positions. This information is available on the wiki.

    2. These are partner trainers, as described on the wiki.

    3. This is a known oversight in release 7, as the briefest of searches would have told you. Go look at the two events on the Intro map to sort it out.
