I just got my first pack!

Well not really. I used to collect them like five years ago, but I never understood how to play. Now I do, so it's a lot of fun now. I like to collect and trade them with my friends. I always have the need to buy more (Mainly because I don't have enough energy cards.) It's so cool, just the concept of the game, and the strategy too. What do you guys think?​

Personally, I never really lost interest, I just never had the money to get packs.

Also, I think you should join our online play league and play people sometime (which embraces methods besides Skype and IMs). ;)

Really!? How do I do that? Also, how do you play Pokemon TGC when were not meeting each other in person?

There are lots of ways. I have guidelines and suggestions outlined in the oldest sticky in this section on how to play via IMs or Skype (which I made well before becoming a moderator), and there are several ways to play online (not always easy to use, though) that do not need any cards whatsoever, such as Redshark and PlayTCG.me.
