I just re-watched the first Pokemon movie...

And I cried...
It was so sad when Ash turned to stone and Pikachu was just there like wake up and kept trying to shock him awake and I got really emotional );

I remember that when I was a child, pretty sure I cried back then too.

Have you ever cried during a Pokemon show/movie?

Hmm. Have I? That's a good question... when I was younger, the Celebi movie made me cry because of how emotional the scene with Celebi dying was. However, since that movie, I haven't cried because of any of the Pokemon movies or episodes. I guess they just didn't have the same emotional push as Celebi did for me, if you know what I mean. The movies are more emotional than the show, too, like the Arceus one, for example... damn, that was a sad scene for sure. I don't know of any episode that I particularly felt emotion for, aha.

Oh yeah...I have felt plenty of emotion during episodes. I agree that almost all the movies strike some kind of emotional chord with me, I look back towards the 8th movie I believe, the one with Lucario and Mew. The ones that specifically struck me hard though were the first movie with the above mentioned scene, the episode, Pikachu's Goodbye, was probably the saddest thing I have ever seen, just thinking about it gets me emotional. Brock and Misty's final goodbyes after Johto also seriously strike a chord with me as there will never be a trio as good as them again in the series in my eyes. They just worked well with each other to me. Lastly, Primeape's goodbye got me emotional but not in a sad way but almost an angry kind of way. Ash worked so hard to get Primeape to respect him and when it happened they were unstoppable it felt like. Those two could've gone so far together but Ash decided to leave him with the Grand Prix guy and never came back for him. Why Ash!? Whyyyyy!!!!????

Besides those, there are plenty of others that strike a chord of some sort with me but these were just the first ones I could think of.

Now excuse me as I go watch Pikachu's Goodbye ;-;

When Ash released Butterfree, his first caught Pokémon. That was very emotional for me. Pikachu's Goodbye too, of course. Then I also cried when Gliscor and Ambipom left, those were very emotional for me either.
