Fainted pokemon can use HMs. Thats like... a dead man walking. o.O

    You just realized this now?
Imagine this, all your Pokemon fainted on the Mirage Island due to the Destiny Bond & you can't Fly or Surf back----transferring data-----in other laments terms-YOU ARE TRAPPED!

    It'd be more realistic if they couldn't use HMs, but then again a game about capturing superpowered monsters in tiny plastic balls and making them fight each other isn't exactly realistic in itself...and I wouldn't wanna be trapped anywhere. D;

No. I knew that. I just mean its weird.

did you play red/blue or FR/LG cos it tells you in them. Plus the fact its really obvious lol

Reality isn't fun. That's why Pokemon in amazingly addicting and fun.

I never understood that, my pigeot just got thundered but it can still fly me across an entire region? and in snowy weather conditions?

I like how I can Fly on a dead Pidgey XD If that's not animal abuse, I don't know what is.

Fainted doesn't mean your Pokemon is dead (although that's probably not what you ere saying)
It just means they are "unable to battle" so they can't fight but they can do other things.

Fainted pretty much means they are too weak to stand up and just pass out.

Well, while fainted technically means just that, fainted, in the games it specifically says: [the pokémon] has no will to fight!" So, it may be that the pokémon are only incapacitated for battle. Perhaps in the same way athletes sustain injury and may not be able to compete but can continue to lead an otherwise healthy and normal life, until they recouperate. Its a stretch, of course.

Yeah its really weird, but it makes me laugh, because its a zombie pokemon. lol

SURF UNRESPONSIVE WAILORD, SURF! ...Stupid numb whale. >:O

It's sad. :( Then again, it's Pocket Monsters, and I'm sure if they restricted that you could get stuck in certain areas, and that would not be pleasant. XD

Sorry but i just cant stop LMAO ROFLLL!!!!!!!!1111shift!!1!!!
    Dude, i.....
I just realized that too O.O
Well maybe next time nintendo should change teh term fainted to... tired?

Well maybe next time nintendo should change teh term fainted to... tired?
The trainer's Pocket Monster is tired! So-so wins. It'd go against what the process stands for. D: The inability to battle is fainted, so...

Well actually the literal translation of the fainted status from Japanese is not fainted at all. It's unable to battle.
    (b' ')b

You could always battle wild pokemon until you black out?
Or they could make it so there's a timer in place, prehaps represented as a bar lol :)
And while your Pokemon is fainted it has to wait for this bar to fill up before you can use the hm, and surf can only be used for a limited time before something bad happens :O
