3rd Gen I know it is hard, but it is possible to get a shiny starter in Emerald?

If you really want it badly just breed the starter pokemon until you get a shiny egg...
i got my shiny beldum that way...

Yes, it is possible. You have to restart your game over and over till you got a Shiny Pokemon starter. It is gonna take forever. Good luck with it. ^^

You have to Sr for them, lately on people have been getting shiny treeckos. i know 3 people who got it this month :shocked:

The necessary method of getting a shiny starter reminds me of constantly reloading one's save until they get the card they want in Metal Gear Acid... Do you want a shiny starter, or were you just curious?

yup thats true and if you want a shiny pokemon you may get one but dont expect to get the nature you want.......

Curse all of your eyes, you made me want to:

• Start multiple instances of VBA
• Have "Pause when inactive window" false on them all (I do anyway)
• Load the Rom in each one
• Hold down the speed button
• Start a new game on each one, with minimal button presses
• Enter my details, etc.
• Pick my starter
• Rinse and repeat until Shinydom.

See you all in 5 months.
