I m4k3 t3h t34mz0rz

I use caps for emphasis, not yelling.

Like saying that snorlax is THE coolest first gen pokemon. Like that.

Yeah but I think we should at least tell him using Gastrodon is a bad idea. If he doesn't care and uses it then fine, but I can at least tell him that it is a bad idea.

For this team, no. Not wise. But, it's been said, & I didn't wanna repeat.

I'm honestly confused as to what you mean (which I tghink defines the problem we've both kinda had of late ;)) but if you mean that the point has already been made then I was just...uh...reinforcing it.

My main beef with this team is that it doesn't gel especially well together. Some things are countered REALLY well and others just destroy this team.

Honestly I wouldn't even put swampert in, you need something that can handle physical attackers tangrowth can't. Vaporeon might be good here, especially since it can subpass and wish pass, which will be nice to that SR-weak Crobat of yours.

Just thought of some REALLY random changes:

Might switch Bat for Aerodactyl.

Tangrowth is going out for Gliscor. That'll help my Physical 'Nape and Hera weak.

The only reason I have Gassy is because it has the ever useful.....Recover! But I'm thinking of changing it to a Beller/Spinner.

Gastrodon will get OHKOed before it can recover anyways :P

BTW maybe instead of making random changes you should really think about what will help this team because switching stuff around all the time isn't really helping.

Honestly I don't see what the purpose of putting in Aerodactyl over Crobat.

Yeah, I've always thought that was my problem, I make random changes without stopping to think.

Bat can't do a thing to Skarm and friends.

Neither can Aerodactyl. Skarmory can buy itself rock resists with Roost while easily shrugging off even a choice Banded Stone edge and will spike up the field, heal, and just roar you away.

Bulky Grounds actually wall Aerodactyl even worse, especially Hippowdon who just walks all over it.

If you want something to kill walls Mixpert would be a good bet as Hydro Pump kills bulky Grounds, phsycial-wallish steels like forry and Skarm, and also kills Weezing.

Conveniently it also beats physical Infernape.

Mixpert sounds good, but I really want a beller.

You already have Snorlax to absorb status but if you insist...well there aren't really any beller that can stand up tyo physical Infernape so you're in a pickle here.

DRAGONITE????!!!!! *Crowd gasps* lol jk

There's a bunch of Pokes that can learn bell through XD. The problem is, Serebii doesn't list them.

You see why everybody looks down on the most-used sources. We need a reliable source for once.

Dragonite will not like taking Thunderpunch at all. Honestly it's way better at taking on Mixape. Also Stone Edge will be gg

I've added Hippo. Although it has Sand Stream, it's one of the few Physical Walls that I actually like.

Your still prone to mixape.

Try this

Dragonite@Leftovers *Dewgong Clone*
252 HP / 16 ATT / 114 DEF / 128 Speed
Jolly Nature
- Heal Bell
- Roost
- Roar
- Dragon Claw

OR

Starmie@leftovers
172 HP / 120 SP.ATT / 216 SPEED
Timid Nature
Trait : natural Cure
- Thunderbolt / Ice Beam
- Surf
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
=)

And physical lucario has the ability to 6-0 you.

Lucario@Life Orb
Adamant Nature
252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
~ Close Combat
~ Extremespeed / Bullet Punch
~ Swords Dance
~ Crunch / Bullet Punch / Stone Edge

Damage Calculations

Close Combat vs Max HP/Def Skarmory 85.03% - 100.30%
Close Combat vs Max HP/Def Bronzong: 96.15% - 113.02%
Close Combat vs Max HP/Def Hippowdon: 76.43% - 90.00%
Close Combat vs Max HP/Def Forretress: 80.23% - 94.63%
Close Combat vs Max HP/Def Donphan: 82.81% - 97.40%

If you let Hippow switch in on spikes as you dont have a spinner you die.

Edit : Heck you dont even have a DD Gyarados counter.

I suggest you find a threat list and pay attention to the OU metagame, im sorry to say but this IS very metagame weak, common threats are able to beat you.

Though you could get lucky with the calc and take that 75% or w/e it was. SR immunity helps here.

EDIT: SR resistance would be a better term

OK, according to Serebii's 3rd gen MoveDex, through XD, Mareep, Poochy, Dragonite, Altaria, Cuno, and Lapras can learn Bell. Smogon says that Lickitung can learn Bell, as well. NONE OF THESE can counter Physical Ape.

No Heal Beller counter Physical Ape, I said that before.

which means you should probably just settle for Snorlax to absorb status. My team sucks at taking status and it is undefeated, so I wouldn't sweat it. Sure you really should have a Heal Beller, but if you can't fit one in, you can't.

Should I just settle for MixPert then?

Yeah,I honestly wouldn't worry about heal Belling on this particular team.

I've decided that a 'Noir with EQ might help me with CBApe.
