I need advice! I'm in a bad situation with my site!

I'm going to check them out.....000k doesn't seem to be working right now, validation e-mail is screwy -_-;;;;
 
humm... the 5gigs is closed for signup atm. man. theyve been like that for weekz

I've been looking for a host too. I didn't find one so.......it's best to host yourself. (unlimited things =D)
 
i'm still here dude, i have duel xeon servers with 4 cpus, and 1gig of ram

I wouldn't recommend doing this. You can get in deep trouble with your ISP. There's major sercuity risks, especially with Windows, and it will cause your internet to slow down as well as anyone else who is in your area.

Lol, you can buy a new computer just for the hosting. Plus, you can install PHP (for cute news) on it. Now you have your own host with unlimited bandwidth, 700 GB web space, Cpanel (you have to install that), and a whole lot more than a n00bie host. You have install a server tho.

yeah, like if you host yourself, it would be like trying to use your computer when downloading from kazaa. Anyways contact me "fantasticfish" is my aim. I put you on my buddy list, your greenboy screen name so get on we will discuss it.
 
Home servers have their good and bad points.

Good points:
As much space as you need basically
Good ammount of bandwidth

Bad points:
Wears down on the computer
Kills the net speeds

*has a server computer right now*
 
You can even buy a oldish comp from a yard sale and still get more than those n00bie hosts . :knockedou

First, you have to check if your ISP allows this. You will get in trouble if they don't. And it would be best if you have a fast cable connection.
 
Nevermind about hosting myself!

5GIGS IS UP AGAIN!!! YAY!!! I'm now pokejungle.5gigs.com!

Of course I haven't moved over anything yet, that's tonight's project!
