i need help please!

can aynone tell me, why i cant trade in pokemon sapphire or ruby?
i was able to trade in emerald, but it doesnt work or r/s

Okay, we're going to need some more info (: Do you mean, you can't trade between Emerald and Ruby/Sapphire, or that you can't PalPark onto Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, or...?

How far along in your game are you? Are you trying to use a DS to trade, or are you using a GBA system?

I don't believe you can trade until you get your Pokédex from Professor Birch, and you can't trade period on a DS because the game does not recognize the DS's wireless card and there are no ports on the system that can link up with other DSs or GBAs.

im using a gba system, i got the pokedex from birch and everything....so why i cant trade, i could easily trade between 2 emerald games... but when i try the same thing with 2 sapphire or ruby games i cant...and i cant trade between fire red and r/s/e

You have to have the national dex in RS but not E. In order to trade between RSE and FRLG, in RSE you have to have the National Dex, and in FRLG, you have to get the national dex< and get the ruby and saphhire, and give it to Celio in the Sevii Islands.

You need to get the PokeNav from Mr.Stone (deliver Stevie Letter) for Ruby and Sapphire to link with FRLG (unlocks National Pokedex).

Emerald needs 200 of 200 for Hoenn Pokedex (ignore Deoxys & Jirachi) to get the National...

No. If you want to trade between FR/LG and R/S/E you must have these:
- In R/S/E you need beat league and have national dex.
- In FR/LG you must have national dex and deliver Celio Ruby and Sapphire.

Actually RS can trade with FRLG from the very beginning on (just need the Pokedex from Birch, the Pokenav isn't necessary), but there you need to have completed the Sevii Islands quests to activate the machine.
About Emerald... I just know you have to get the National Dex to get non-Hoenn Pokemon. I never even tried to get it, and the aforementioned Hoenn Dex completition looks extremely difficult to me...

But with a new game in RS and a game in FRLG where the machine has been activated, it will work, i've done that many times by myself.
What does not work is trading a Kanto Pokemon to RS and then to E, or a Hoenn Pokemon to a Kanto version where trading with Hoenn is enabled and then to a new Kanto game.

I've traded National Dex Pokemon to RS after getting the Pokedex. There's not a real way to unlock the National Dex in RS; it just happens when you trade a Pokemon that's not in the Hoenn Dex. There could just be something wrong with your game, because I've done that plenty of times and I haven't had this problem.
