I NEED HELP WITH POKEMON STARTER KIT/ ESSENTIALS

    Okay, if this is the wrong place to post, please re-direct me.

    Anyway, I need serious help. Whenever I try to set a trainer with a second page(via local A switch on the first page) When I play test it, it doesnt work! And when i go back to the RPG maker, The second page has been erased and the only thing on it is "..."

    IT seems when I compile it , that's when it occurs, but it also doesn't work period. Please help.
     
    Yes, I did make sure, I'm not new to this. Whenever I open the editor or compile the data in the editor, the trainer events in rpg maker that i've made lose their second page. I want to know why, and how to stop it.
     
    No, no error. I open the editor (understanding that this is the essentials editor, not rpg maker xp. and change something, maybe not even compile data. And afterwards, the gymleader and another trainer lose the second page information, it's replaced with text"...". And it only happens to SOME events, though they have the same information besides the trainer type, etc.
     
    What did you write on the second page, usually on the second page is what the trainer says after you defeat him, you should check the second page of the trainers already made by Poccil.
     
    [EDIT] Okay, I can change something, open and close it, and it's fine, but as soon as I use the editor my trainer defaults again, wtf?

    I have! And they are the same except they stay in tact.

    AND NOW i see that even my front page gets changed back after the editor has been used, WHAT THE HELL?

    Okay...I just copy/pasted one that worked and changed the info and so far...so good. I still want to know why that happened though, for future encounters with this sort of problem.

    Doesn't make sense. And dbg fan, try the same thing, if you have any trainers that work, copy paste them and change the info. Unless...unless the way we did one of the trainers or types in the editor was wrong...I'm not sure.

    I still want answers!
     
    I think we were doing it wrong. x_x but i don't have the problem now any more either.
     
    Before changing the modified trainer event, you need to delete the comments used to create it. Every time you playtest the game, it will use the trainer event comments to reconstruct the event, getting rid of any modifications. Deleting the comments will disable that.
     
    So wait, the comments in the event before hand? for example: Comment: battle me now!

    That kind of stuff? If so, i'll try it out, and thanks alot.
