Feel free to give the Patching & Emulation thread a try, hopefully someone will know how to help out with that over there! Sadly I have no idea in that regard since I've never tried playing on a Kindle. :< Welcome to PC!
Hello! ask in the Patching & Emulation thread next time, but I think I can help you here
1.download the patch from the pc link here
2. find a clean fire red 1.0 squirrels rom, no link since its prohibited on the site
3. patch it with this or download NUPS and patch it that way( I think the file is NUPS not too sure)
4. after patching, put it in your emulator and start playing!
