is dot tk good enough instead of a domain? i mean this is offtopic but i cant afford a domain so i got a dot tk. which is better?
 
im on a totally diferent subject. o host ultra is one of the best hosts but their ftp stinks. tho you can upload multiplle files @ once.
 
oh. I really don't know much about domains or hosting or anything, but I gotta start somewhere! ^^

Well, if you want a domain and stuff, then you might as well just pay for hosting. -.-

www.elixant.com is a cheap and reliable host. You can also register .com/.org/.net domains through them for 8.95/yr I think.
 
That's why i was on freewebs though. Paying is sooooo evil! I wish I had money! ><

I'll Add you as an affiliate too. How many hits per day do you get?
 
Double posting is bad...

And I get maybe 3 hits a day. XD Though my forum is a lot more popular. We average 100 or so posts a day. ^^

And meh, freewebs works until you can find a decent host.
 
I reached my max of 6 pages X(...That's why I need to leave there!

Hmm.. What host are you using? Not many will only give you like 6 pages.. thats very rare.

Try looking around for cheap hosting. Thats always good.
 
freewebs.....acutally they gave me 7, but really, a link counted as a page! Not fair! I HATE FREEWEBS!!!!!
 
Try lycos perhaps?

You get a bit of space there, and you can use the <noframe> to get rid of the frame... though that's not allowed. *grin*
 
I consider that! I'm hoping to move the site on Saturday. Oh, I but the affialate thing on my news update and at the forums ^^
 
Yeah, that sucks, i don't really get anything but .com and i bort pokemon-world.net as well. :) other than that i don't know many hosts.
 
Uh, you can't host a domain on lycos... o.o

You'll have to find a -really- good host, most don't allow domain hosting.
 
Yeah, you usally have to buy hosting when it comes to that. They will host domains if you pay for a host. ^_^
 
Not all paid hosts host domains though...

And I have heard of some freebies that will... you just gotta look. :p
