Pocketbook?? I think you mean something to do with Money. Well, go to macromedia, download dreamweaver than go to a serials site and vola you have Dreamweaver all for $0. Its so easy to get programs for free.
 
Must be an American phrase... I do mean that it costs money.

But most people are too dumb to go get a crack or a serial. They spend the money and buy the actual programs, when it's just as simple as learning how to code it and doing it in Notepad.
 
But its hard when your a new person to learn it in Notepad.. but yeah i know what you meam.

O well.. i use programs because it makes it alot faster.. But i have had to teach myself in Notepad back in the day.
 
It's not that hard to learn simple HTML in notepad. But I can understand if you're learning like php... that's challenging in notepad. Especially with all the ways to screw up a script that way.

I would know... trying to find an error is a pain. -.-;;
 
I know basic HTML, let me stress the BASIC part. I once made a site for my guild in noepets on geocities. The only edeeming quality of it was the letters that followed the mouse =)

Ok, I'd be the dumb person. I'm not in the stone age X|
