I think I'm the laziest GO player in the world.

I have caught 21 pokemon in GO (I picked Charmander so have 22 so far).

20 of them have been caught from inside my home, most of the time when I sit on my bed! The other one was caught from my Dad's sofa...

I haven't ever actually gone out and played the game outside. I've never been to a pokestop or gym. Zubat and Drowzee seem to love it round here...

Anyone else this lazy? How many have you caught from inside your home?

are you buying pokeballs from the shop? if you are your laziness will soon get expensive :P

have you got a pokestop within reach of you then?

Unless you have a pokestop in reach or start spending money you will run out of pokeballs soon.
You won't get many different Pokemon by not going out what's point in playing it really if you never go out?

I have loads of pokeballs left, I catch pokemon first or second ball nearly every time. Levelling up gives you quite a few and that's all I have needed.

There is no point, but I have been curious to see what spawn nearby, actually there's been many different pokemon so far.

There's about 5 close by, haven't needed to visit one yet.

Hey drr, just a reminder to please avoid multi posting (posting twice or more in a row in quick succession). If you want to add more to your post and no one posted after you you can use the 'edit' button under your post, otherwise just click 'multiquote' (either just says 'multiquote' or looks like a quotation mark with a plus sign) under each post you want to quote and then press 'post reply' at the bottom of the page. You'll be taken to the reply box where you can respond to multiple quoted messages in the same post. Many thanks! Merged your multi posts for you. =)

To answer your question though... lmao I used to be that way for the first few days. When the game first came out I was excited to play but didn't think I'd make much progress since it was lonely going out by myself and I didn't know anyone irl who played at the time. Now my little brother got his own phone and we go outside at least once a day. I've probably only caught 10 Pokémon maximum from in my house... It'll get reaaaally hard to progress if you don't step outside. Which is okay if you don't mind massively slow progress and aren't in a rush, but the game has no play value if you don't go out really. ;c

I don't even have the option, the only time I've ever caught anything in my house is with incense. Once I caught a pokemon when I walked across the street, but otherwise I have to go at least a block or two before I catch anything.

(also, in regards to running out of pokeballs - you're probably fine right now, but as you level up catching pokemon will become harder as they break out more often, so you will eventually get to the point where simply getting pokeballs from levelling up won't be enough)

That's a shame, what type of area do you live in?

I have 38 balls left. When I run out I'll see how I feel then.

Sorry I had no idea how to do it.

Yeah that's my problem I have nobody to play GO with. Would be motivated to play properly if I had somebody to go play with.

It's a medium-size rural town, I haven't had a chance to explore the whole town yet, but most of the spawn points are on main street (along with most of the stops and 2 out of our 3 gyms) or near the big-box stores on one edge of the town. I just happen to live (and work) right in between those two spots where it's a bit of a dead zone. There are two spawn points between my house and my work (15 minute walk), but they seem to be dependant on the time of day - I always get the one nearer my work on my way there around 7:30, and the one nearer my house on my way back around 5. so... yeah, I get an average of two pokemon a day during the week, most of which are pidgey, rattata, or weedle.

I tried playing from bed, but nothing ever came near. Sort of like me and chicks. Maybe they are all just busy playing GO in their bedrooms.

Maybe you'll bump into some chicks next time you head out to play then. :)

Such a shame, but at least you have that. You might get a lucky spawn every once in a while. You still have some exploring to do so have fun. :)
