What? We don't want the incredibly amusing looking villain admins? At least with the G admins, we don't have the admins who look almost indistinguishable from the ordinary grunts. (Cough, AQUA AND MAGMA, cough).
Anyway, Hyouta wasn't that BA in my humble opinion. In what way, pray tell, was he different then any of the Hoenn leaders? His strategy was essentially the same as theirs(i.e., use the unique abilities of his Pokemon to kick Ash's tail), but with a little stealth rock thrown in. Meh, I've seen better, and I don't even follow the anime for the most part.
"J" is just like... I don't know, not really good enough. Everyone is shouting "Look, a villain!" as if we'd never had one before. "J" is a competent villain, but she isn't quite evil enough. We don't know her motive at all, and while that should add to the mystery, the fact is that she's too easily foiled. One episode is all she gets and poof! Off she goes to the land of the semi-recurring characters to train for her next glorified cameo. The fact that she isn't affiliated with Galaxy or Rocket pretty much assures that she's basically going to be a recurring villain who shows up every nine episodes or so to break the monotony of Team Rocket fillers.
Actually, as far as battling goes there were a couple of BF episodes I enjoyed, and the battle frontier did come from the games so it was only natural that it at least made a cameo.
Everything on Pokemon is repetitive. This is because the series not only appeals to older people but also to impressionable little kids, and the latter are more easily coerced into purchasing more merchandise. *Shot for lack of evidence* Anyway, I don't think that it's really going to improve all that much. The most we can hope for is a spin-off series with some actual continuity and a slightly more exciting plot, but the odds of this happening are seventy-six trillion to one.
