    this is just an idea i may not start this at all i just want oppinions thanks you

    ive looked through ost of the thread not all but quite a few and have noticed no games that are made to support the entire pokemon world as i know this would be extremely difficult i can understand why and can also understand the time and effort needed to be put into a game such as this

    but on the note thati have most of the tools except for RMXP i a forced to wonder if this project is even possable.

    if i were to begin making this game i would be including all know regions including orre, almia, fiore, orange archipelago and other regions that would not be normally seen in the handheld generations at best i would have it in a similar lineage to the anime series and have anime/movie exclusive areas added as well. if you think this is a good idea post a reply and if u can give a suggestion to what tools would be good for making such a large scale game. if you dont like it post and tell me why u dont think i should even bother.

    There are plenty of games with multiple, or even all, regions... It's just that most of them are currently inactive. A few active ones are: Pokémon Regions (new), and Pokémon Blue Chrome. Pokémon: the Lost World and Pokémon: Hall of Fame also include all the regions, but don't have an active thread at the moment. I'm pretty sure they're still going, though.
     
    I haven't played a game will all regions yet, but I know they exist!

    If you want to make that game however I'd help any way I can!
    It's a good idea as long as you have some interesting twists to your plot and not the same story as all he other games.
    I can do everything but scripting (Still learning) and mapping (tis my weakness).
     
    Hall of fame does not have a thread but, it is still going and you can take a look at POI and PNK.
    These projects have all of the maps in them.
     
    Well ive been doing a lot of in depth research involving all of the different areas besides the regions AKA movie exclusive locations. If I were to make this I would definately include the orange islands which would probably be one of the most time consuming areas, but also I plan on figuring out a way to make this game as similar to the landscapes as possible i also want to incorperate more of the events only seen in the movies including the festvial in lucario and the mystery of mew and a reconstruction of the strange island that mewtwo was on in the first movie. Im actually working on a hobby version of the orre region rite now. Im making custom tiles for it at the moment. The other thing that mainly concerns me is how to incorperate getting from one are to the other because as you know there are some areas that arent even mentioned as to where they are although I have been looking into that as well. All in all I may start this and if I do I will post an official recruiting thread id need people that have already done quite a bit of this and would definately have the abilities needed.

    With that said thanks for the posts but do any of you know where I could get some clear screenshots of the locations in the movies. Ive been trying to reconstruct the island mewtwo was on but its getting to be a pain cause every one of the images I find is a screenshot of ash or mew or mewtwo.
     
    I'd suggest you to go after Pokemon Silver Chronicles if you are so interested in multi-region games. That game has reached Hoenn, and it has a lot more features than the original video game series. The only problem is that the language is Portuguese, and this is probably why it is not as popular as it is supposed to be.
     
    My game, which is under development at the moment, not ready for a thread here, features 2 new regions, all of kanto, large parts of johto (olivine city, whirl islands, goldenrod city, new bark town - violet city), Slateport City from Hoenn, and so far also Canalave City from DPPlt. I do hope to expand it.

    But yeah, games take a long time and a lot of effort. It's really hard to do it.
