Then why are they obeying humans?
It says in the pokedex that Alakazam's IQ exceeds 5,000 which is way above any human's IQ and it says that "Its highly developed brain is on par with a supercomputer".
So why is something so smart being ruled by humans?

    Just a thought

Who knows but I don't think Alakazam would want to take over and not to be controlled by humans.

If you have someone feed you, keep you healthy, give you a nice home, ect ect...would you want to rebel against them?

I sure as heck wouldn't DX

They're Pokemon. They're loyal to their trainers. They may be smart, but that doesn't mean that they are mean.

Eh, I dunno, I would have to agree with Danchan ^^
I'd wanna stay with someone who'd give me food, shelter, and the works.

Unless... there was some form of Pokéabuse going on >_> THEN I'd see how Alakazam would rebel against humans.
Better not get carried away here. :P

Sure they're super-smart, but that doesnt mean they dont respect trainers for what they do. I say that even if it is that smart, it doesnt matter because they are loyal.

Hmm. I don't think any Pokémon has any reason to rebel unless they're influenced that way. It's said in the anime that there is no such thing as a bad Pokemon, but trainers who makes Pokemon do bad things. But you can't always trust the anime... :P
