4th Gen If Aruseus...

1. They wouldn't end they're series on purpose
2. What if Aruseus created more pokemon...?

^ Translation of its pokedex entry, courtesy of Pokebeach. While it doesn't say "pokemon" exactly, the whole "creating the world" bit kinda implies it.

Anyways, do I believe this is the last generation? Well, unless Game Freak either comes out and says it, or just plain doesn't release any more games, then no - I won't believe that they wouldn't make a new generation eventually. Not only would it not make much sense business-wise for Game Freak to stop, but there are still plenty of ideas out there that could be used for the games. The discovery of a "god" doesn't necessarily mean that everything in the world has now been found, so it could make sense for other pokemon to come after Arseus.

Though it'd be kind of hard for Game Freak to create another legendary as impressive as Arseus without being repetitive, that's for sure. :P

The same thing could be said of some other games (FR/LG, for example), really. D/P isn't that different from other generations in regards to collecting - that is, you'll still need the older games in order to catch certain pokemon, even if it's not by directly trading them over, as they won't appear naturally in D/P otherwise.
 
It is nice how all pokemon are availible with different methods. The DS cartridge communitcates with the GBA cartridges to make version-specific pokemon availible and stuff like that.
There are many "creators" in the game. I even read somewhere that Dialga and Palkia are direct descendants of Aruseus
 
^No offense but that is ridiculous. Dialga and Palkia are DEFINETLY not descendants of Aruseus.

If Aruseus is God...I hope that makes Mew the Pokemon equivalent of Jesus. That in turn would make Mewtwo the antichrist...then that would make Giovanni the False Prophet...

Holy ****, how can you turn a RELATION (Creator, the actual term that was used=God) to make up all this stuff about Mew being Jesus, and Giovanni, the False Prophet.

Samson, there is no way Ash is Giovanni's son. I'm not blaming you, but wherever you heard that is riduculous. The hype I've heard is that your Rival from G/S/C (Silver I think) is Giovanni's son. I'm too lazy to tell you why, so...Google it.

silver's dad huh? i never heard that one. well heres a brief of why i think he's ash's father:

well it's only a Pokemon conspiracy, but it makes so much sense. haven't you ever seen the Pokemon episode where Ash's mother tells Misty about Ash's dad? she tells Misty how Giovanni (well, she doesn't say Giovanni, she says "Ash's dad") had to take over his mom's [evil] corporation and left to viridian city. the show never says his name and shows his face, so that's one clue. also, in an earlier episode, she tells Ash how his dad took more time to get to Viridian City, but that's the only place he went. also, haven't you ever wondered why he lets Jessie & James stay on Team Rocket and use all their resources? who cares about a stupid pikachu? the only reason why he would let them be on Team Rocket is so that they can go back to Giovanni and tell them how well Ash (his son) is doing without dragging Ash into all that Evil Corporation mess. proof of this is the episode where team rocket begins to settle into the new R/S/E region, and giovanni recieves a report from a team rocket executive telling him how much jessie and james have spended, and the number on the screen was well in the millions. but when she asks him if he wanted to end jessie and james' funding, he tells her not to. i'm sure there are other clues too, but those are the only ones i can remember. i do believe there is some fan-fiction all over the net about this.[/QOUTE]

oh, i wonder if arseus carries any plates with it when you battle it through that event. lol that's good enough, right? also, i'm wondering if it has a move that is like weather ball but stronger.

And yes, Fiifi, Aruseus is the creator of Pokemon. Wrap your mind around the idea rather than accuse EVERYONE except yourself of making things up. Although the thing with Giovanni and Mew was highly retarded, IMO. :P

Anyways, I certainly hope Diamond and Pearl aren't the last games. It would end a proud tradition in gaming history.
 
hmm, GodofPH, I never really associated Darkrai with being Aruseus's opposite. Its an interesting inference
 
i'd think that if it were it's opposite, it'd be type ghost rather dark, considering that neithers' original type of move wouldn't affect each other. and besides... it's a freaking ghost XD

Eh, I made that inference solely on the fact that he looks like some sort of Arcdemon and he is the only Legendary Pokemon with Dark for a type. And not to mention he is the "Darkness Pokemon." I heard a saying somewhere "Evil is the absense of God." If God is seen as the ultimate source of Light, I figured a legendary Pokemon called the "darkness Pokemon" would be the Devil/Adversary, since Darkness is the absense of light.

i got a boy from my uni, who is from japan and he has the game and he red your INFORMATIONS and said it not right. (Aruseus is the creator of Pokemon).just has abilitie to be any type he want and when he want.
Also told me their is a movie coming for Aruseus soon in japan(by the way,he has finish the game)and i have seen it myself with my two eyes.No joke.
Only time will tell who right and who is not.i mean new information comes out every day.
 
so then what is Mew. how does he relate if has all the dna?
