I'll probably find Squirtle more of use than the other two, plus it's a water-type, and Blastoise is just pure awesome.


Though if that doesn't work out then perhaps Charmander might.

I would gladly accept any but I would go in wanting a Charmander because I love the fire types and Charizard is a great powerhouse to have on the team. What an interesting thread would be is which region would you come from and why? Which starter from that region would you choose from and why? I don't know, I think it would make for an interesting discussion.

Bulbasaur, would keep it as it or maybe evolve it into ivysaur but not venusaur.. I dont like 3rd forms of 1st generation starters.. I'm gonna get killed now :O

Of those three, it's a tossup between Squirtle and Bulbasaur. I like Venusaur's poison-typing and abilities, but Blastoise was the first starter pokemon I ever had back in my old Blue version...before my favorites turned to the direction of poison/ghost/dark-types, but still a strong enough nostalgic pull for me to consider him. :/

1. Charizard is awesome to start with. Who wouldn't want a big, fire-breathing dragon for a pet? XD
