On first note: I'd never make my Pokemon stay inside a Pokeball unless it was untamed or injured, or too big to go where I'm going or something.

I'd probably ask my Pokemon, doesn't matter which, if it would share it's food with me, 'cause I'd be hungry. I'd treat my Pokemon like normal people...except with the whole, asking for favors and them doing them without question sorta thing (Ex: Make me float up their, burn that guy, etc).
