If there was another type of transport?

Maybe they could make a motorcycle. I mean the bike could come before the motorcycle. Then required by the story you could have a motorcycle which they let you keep when you do the objective
 
How about you could rent/or buy cars in the game. The most expensive cars would be a Ferrari or Rolls Royce. Your rival in the later stages of the game would come out of his Rolls Royce and battle you.

I've always thought about different transportation methods they could use in future games. It was rumored earlier that HeartGold and SoulSilver would have been using a skateboard rather than the original bike, however that was proven to be false. Truthfully though, I think using a skateboard would be a fairly nice new method in transportation if the bike were to ever be replaced. Other ideas would include a motored scooter or even roller blades instead of running shoes.

Now, in the games we have a couple boats and cruise ships, so possibly, in future games they could have air transport such as a blimp or airplane for a more modern effect. There's a lot of different options, some of them quite interesting to think about.
 
I was thinking a car. But have a skateboard would be pretty cool. Or the skateboard could change depending on what the environment was like. For example if it was snowing it would change into a snowboard and water we would use wakeboard or skies.

Or if we did use a car it could be a mini car or something like that.
 
On the note of the skateboard, rail grinding would be interesting to see used.

I think a zeppelin or two would make a good addition, and it wouldn't seem out of place to me.

...I'm still standing by my 4-wheeler. ATV FTW.
 
I'm thinking dirt bikes. They can go on all sorts of terrain, and they don't always have to run on gas. I'm sure the pokemon world scientists could whip something up.

Don't forget about cars, either. =D Remember that your character in R/S/E arrives in a moving truck/van and there's also the mew delivery truck!
