If it was from any generation, then I would pick Squirtle. I think having Squirtle around, and then having a Blastoise would be very handy for worldy things that go on, and...just to have a cool kick butt Blastoise. :P

If I could choose any Pokemon it would be Treecko. It's quick, powerful, and evolves into Sceptile, which is one of the best starter evolutions

I'd choose Eevee, since then I'd have many options on what it could evolve into. I'd probably end up evolving it into either Umbreon or Vaporeon.

I think... An Eevee, and then I would evolve it into an Espeon.

Something that isn't too big, too small, too slow, too weak... Pretty good pokemon IMO.
