5th Gen If You Got The Other Game.....

Having both Pokémon Black and Pokémon White after completing the first game I will breed my dream team and then trade them over to use in my play through.
 
I've been considering trying to play through a pokemon game without evolving any of my pokemon. That would definitely make it quite a bit more difficult.
 
I'm quite happy with Black, but if I ended up getting White, I'd most likely choose a different starter and experiment with different teams.
 
If I ended up getting the other version ( I got White ), I would probably pick a different starter. Most likely Oshawatt (I chose Snivey). Tepig never really has appealed to me. But other than the starter I really wouldn't change much with my game experience. Just play it casually.
 
Well I have both. One's for me and one's for my sister. If I were to play through White, though, I would have picked Oshawott as a starter, but that's pretty much it. There's not much else to do that's different. :/
 
Well, I got both at the exact same time on March 6, at 9am.
I'v already played completely through both and am about to restart Black.

What I did is play White first with Snivy and just go along with it, catching any and all pokemon I saw and absorbing every detail about the storyline. Then I started with Oshawott and traded five pokemon I wanted on my team that I had just hatched. Now i'm about to do the same. I'll keep doing it until I have one of each pokemon that is at least level fifty that i've trained from at most level five.
 
If I got pokemon black I would have played through it nuzlocke style!
 
I'm not sure if I am going to get the other game yet. But I am defiantly thinking about it because I want to check out White Forest! And I could make an entirely different team and see what other pokemon are good in battle. Hmm..
 
In Black I'll be using all three starters instead of just using one like I did in White.

I'll also probably restart Black as many times as I please while keeping a permanent file on White.
 
What would you do?

i am using the 2nd game as a challange run game. and also to get multiple versions of the legends.

Would you try and run it like a challenge?

yes i am going to try alot of different challanges here on pc with my english black game

Would you pick a different starter?

i did so now i have them all

Would you play it through the same way?

no i have been doing everything diffrently than i normally would have. using different pokemon that i normally wouldnt use
 
I got Black in JP and White in EN so I did get to play through both. I technically chose a different starter in White but I ditched it in favour of some other Pokémon (in eggs) I'd traded over from Black. Snivy, my starter in Black, was really the only starter I liked.

Aside from having a mostly ideal team from the get-go, I didn't play it any differently though.
 
When I get Black I will play through it as my fun game where I can muck up and restart whenever I want. I have never done this with previous games and I always want to restart them but never have the heart to. I want this to change now though :) I also want to participate in challenges as well as I have always wanted to do all the challenges in PC but haven't had the courage to restart games.
 
I will probably be getting Black. And I'll probably be running it as a Nuzlocke challenge, and picking a different starter.
 
I have both but I haven't really started black. When I did I was just going to use it as a port to level up my white team.
