If you were a member of the Elite 4...?

Maybe Electric ...

Ampharos - Jolteon - Luxray - Lanturn - Raichu

Or Dark.

Absol - Umbreon - Mightyena - Honchkrow - Weavile

I'd specialise in the Eevee evolutions because I'm awkward.

Umbreon
Espeon
Flareon
Vaporeon
Jolteon
Glaceon
dont elite four members(other then champ) only have 5 pokemon? and don't they ussualy only have one or 2 types(except champ)

Yeah, keep forgetting about that. I find that ridiculous for the Elite Four to only have five. But you get the point and who cares.

yeah but ussualy it would be to difficult to take down 36 trainers instead of just 32 trainers since the elite four is very difficult unless you make a trade or cheat or try to EV train

I'd go Ice. I won't use competitive battling movesets because, well, the E4 doesn't really do that. (Some may be just because they'd be plausible E4 movesets anyway).

In order increasing level:

Walrein
Hail
Blizzard
Avalanche
Sheer Cold

Empoleon
Ice Beam
Surf
Drill Peck
Toxic

Weavile
Night Slash
Ice Punch
Pursuit
Brick Break

Mamoswine
Avalanche
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Ice Shard

Glaceon
Ice Beam
Mirror Coat
Shadow Ball
Icy Wind

I'd break the rules and be half an Elite Four member with my twin.

I'd use Water-type Pokemon while they'd use Ice-types.
We'd both have a Cloyster, I would have a Sealeo and a Quagsire.
My twin would use a Piloswine and a Abomasnow.

Double battle imho.

If I were in the elite four I would be a water leader and use

Wailord
Politoad
Lantern
Golduck
and lastly Omastar

Why would you go Sealeo and Piloswine over Walrein and Mamoswine? Don't the E4 all use full evos?

I like Sealeo more than Walrein, even though Walrein is a delightful creature.
But fine, we'll upgrade it to a Mamoswine? :|

I was leaning towards more anime-like Elite Four. Sealeo is much more agile than Walrein >_o

Mainly Water. Here's the horrible sets! (Because as an Elite 4 member, you have to have bad movesets.)

Gyarados

Waterfall
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Thunder Wave

Feraligatr

Ice Punch
Thunder Punch
Earthquake
Waterfall

Milotic

Surf
Hypnosis
Ice Beam
Rest

Sharpedo

Slash
Surf
Crunch
Aqua Jet

Quagsire

Earthquake
Waterfall
Toxic
Ammnesia

Aaaaahh...fire and dark for me. why do most people use ground and water though?

I'd have:

Ninetales: flamethrower, substitute, sunny day, fire blast
Absol: return, shadow ball, swords dance, baton pass
Houndoom: crunch, will-o-wisp, hidden power [grass], pursuit
Arcanine: Hidden Power [Ground], Flamethrower, Roar, Extremespeed
mightyena: swagger, protect, torment, poison fang

I'll go with the rarest and hardest element to endure in actual battle. I'll be a Normal type E4 member.

Team:

Kecleon
-Sucker Punch
-Aerial Ace
-Slash
-Brick Break

Lopunny
-Return
-Sky Uppercut
-Double Team
-Rest

Castform
-Rain Dance
-Weather Ball
-Thunder
-Water Pulse

Wigglytuff
-Double-edge
-Charm
-Sing
-Dream Eater

Ambipom
-Fire Punch
-Iron Tail
-Bounce
-Return

Just to settle some facts (as to what I consider to be true anyway): the Elite Four all carry five pokemon, the champion six; the elite four all specialise in one type of pokemon but can also use corresponding dual-types of the same kind; and the Elite Four disregard any sense of balance within their teams as their purpose is to test the trainer individually but also altogether as a four-person trial. Not sure if they all use full evolutions though. I'm sure I saw a secondary evolution in one of the games...

That aside, I'd like to specialise in fighting-types. >3

  • Medicham
  • Blaziken
  • Breloom
  • Riolu
  • Heracross

Well, Sinnoh seems to be breaking the code here with basically all the elites having at least one off-theme pick, and in general a case can be made for saying the elites specialize in two types rather than one (Bruno's Hitmons and Onix combo, Agatha - in FR/LG - with pure ghost and poison side-by-side etc.). But yeah, taking this in the narrowest sense of one type I'd go with grass.

Jumpluff
Exeggutor
Cradily
Ludicolo
Cacturne

Just because they're cool. 8D

Well, I like 2 types, Bug and Dark, so If Bug I'd have:

Wormadam (Ground Forme)
Yanmega
Mothim
Drapion
Vespiquen

I didn't put Heracross as Flying moves are common, and it is 4 times weak to flying, so...

Dark and fire for me.

Houndoom@Focus Sash
Flamethrower/ Fire Fang/ Payback/ Pursuit

Spiritomb@Sitrus Berry
Ominous Wind/ Sucker Punch/ Silver Wind/ Toxic

Absol@Sitrus Berry
Razor Wind/ Crunch/ Sucker Punch/ Me first

Skuntank@???
Flamethrower/ Crunch/ Toxic/ Sucker Punch
