I would be a Dark type Pokemon Trainer with a variety of strong and cool Pokemon such as:

  • Umbreon
  • Gengar
  • Mismagius
  • Honchkrow
  • Absol
  • Alakazam

Alakazam is there because It knows Shadow Ball and it also confuses my opponents because of the change of type.

They actually don't have more than 4 in the anime, at least not anymore.

Pikachu has Iron Tail, Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, and Volt Tackle

Turtwig has Energy Ball, Razor Leaf, Tackle, and Synthesis

Chimchar has Flame Wheel, Scratch, Dig, and Flamethrower (I think)

Piplup has Peck, Bubblebeam, Whirlpool, and Bide

Buneary has Ice Beam, Dizzy Punch, and Bounce

Pachirisu has Discharge and Sweet Kiss

Sudowoodo has Mimic and Double-Edge

Croagunk has Poison Sting and Poison Jab


That's all I know for sure that I recall seeing, but none of them have more than 4.
 
I would probably be electric,grass or poison.

i am pretty sure very high leveled pokemon in the anime have more than 4 moves but per battle for some reason the writes only make them use 4 different type of moves per battle.
pikachu has also used thunder before

Charizard left ages ago. Pikachu used Thunder before he had Iron Tail or Volt Tackle. The moves change. They do not have more than 4 moves in the anime anymore.

TIME FOR ME to get researching...i thought about it for a whole and I do think you are correct but i am sure i will get a pokemon who has used more than 4 moves

in the latest series

Chimchar

scratch
fire spin
flame wheel
now...dont hold me on this but i am pretty sure he has used flame thrower as well in the series
he has used ember in the series too
fury swipes and i am pretty sure pound

and chairzard wasnt long ago...he was in the last ep nearly of the previous series where he had like 7 moves

ash turwig has also used 5 moves and uses them often

bite,razor leaf,synthesis,tackle and energy ball

You seem to forget that pokemon learn new moves, and forget old ones. Chimchar most recently has Flame Wheel, Dig, Scratch, and Flamethrower. The other moves were older moves that he doesn't use anymore.

Turtwig learned Energy Ball very recently from Kenny and his Breloom. Now, since he's learned it Ash has barely used him so it's hard to say which move he's forgotten. Ever since he learned it it seems that's the only move he actually uses.

that is a fair point but he wont forget fire spin- that is a high leveled move, but it is used rarely. he could still use those moves if he wanted too.

but you do have a point and you may be correct. my personal view is when high leveled pokemon come into the anime they have more than 4 moves which is why i am surprised pikachu doesnt use more than 4 moves in battle dimension. I think we just have to wait and see.

But you are talking about what move is used often. however, that doesn't mean they have forgotten the older moves. It is like pikachu- he has used thunder in diamond and pearl once in the eleckid episode so that makes 5 for him. I think the anime try to make higher evolved pokemon have about 6-7 moves at times while the lower have 4-5

Well you can have what you want, but the opening post of the thread says what TWO types would you have?? Loreli has Ice/Psychic and sticks to it, Bruno has Rock/Fighting, Agatha has Ghost/Poison, Lance has Dragon/Flying etc etc.

Thats why I said the two types you would have. Plus, it has been said before that ELITE FOUR members have FIVE Pokémon only! It's not that hard!
