    ...what would it be?

For me, I would have the power of time travel and teleportation, mainly so I could go back to the past and re-explore certain events such as the dinosaurs, the Mona Lisa, World War II, etc. and to escape danger by moving from one place to another without moving at all. :P

How about you? Would it be the power to control fire, or some element? Would it be the Hand of Midas? Or would it be time travel like me?

I would enjoy the power to warp reality as I see fit.

I wouldn't really do anything on a large scale, like making aliens attack (though I may make a planet that can sustain life, for the lulz), or reforming the world (at least concerning life as we know it; I would use the power for things like growing new trees). Probably just basic stuff that won't really hurt people, like transporting a portion of my consciousness (the senses and ability to feel pain) into a game of Battlefield 3 and pull other people in as their own players, too. When the round ends in-game, they get knocked back into their real body unharmed (physically, of course).

Along with some experimental stuff, such as a sex change. (Only slightly because of the possible reactions by the family if I woke up one day as a girl.)

Besides, I could control the elements, make myself invisible or teleport wherever with the power to warp reality anyways, so why not? :D

I'd have the power of telepathy or super strength. I can know what others really think about things or I can help with hard tasks.

I'd want to be able to change into different types of animals. If I wanted to cut travel time and avoid traffic jams, I'd change into a sparrow and fly. If I wanted to teach some jerk a lesson, I'd change into a hound and wring his hands off. Otter for swimming, chimpanzee for climbing, beaver for building dams... the Swiss army knife of superpowers no duh. :D

    Invisibility and Telekinesis.

I would use both for less-than-good purposes...

I'm an anti-hero in the making...

I would do that to other people for a laugh.

Telekinesis. This thread has popped up a few times and each time I've said telekinesis. It is just the coolest power ever and it has such potential for growth. It literally makes the world your oyster. Every character on TV or in movies that has had telekinesis I have just fallen in love with, because it is just that badass. I can't even describe my love for it.

The most recent example is a new movie I saw today called Chronicle. It is essentially a movie about telekinesis. I suggest you all see it, it is amazing.

    Telekinesis is incredible.

Occasionally I reach out to things in just in case they move, but sadly I am yet to discover my hidden superpowers...

i'd love the ability to manipulate time (if that would even be possible in the realm of physics), or the ability to create electromagnetic fields around me and manipulate metallic objects (yes, like magneto from x-men).

Now, I agree with this. I would love to the power to wrap my own reality. I would also like some power were I could grow wings. That would be amazing.

    1. Teleportation.
    2. The ability to read minds.
    3. The ability to control other people.

If I had the power to control an element, it would be water. Thanks to Avatar (THE Avatar), Waterbending is amazing. The ability to make ice by blowing while you're bending, and the ability to control the blood in another's body is awesome.

I would love to have the ability to control time... To be able to undo stupid actions, to make things work out for me, and others, as well as possibly remain any age at any time. I could be the same age I am now, but about a hundred years in the future, or I could cause temporal feedback allowing me to relive as a younger version of myself with either the same memories, or without them, to be able to master anything and everything. To be able to experience everything, and gain enjoyment from it perpetually. To only be finished when I am finished...

Always and forever will be teleportation. There is never a day that goes by that I don't think of it while trying to get somewhere or do something. Which makes it so useful and unlike other super powers I don't think the effects are as bad if it was to be abused.

I would love the superpower to control electricity without zapping myself. Not to create it out of thin air, just to pull it out of small sources like batteries and keep it stabilized in small pockets of air.

I have a tendency to become completely immersed in what I'm doing, so I'd want to keep my sanity with those limits on my power.

I've said it once, I'll say it again: the only superpower I'd ever want to have is control over matter; from atoms to the universe. With this, I can change the world for better; or perhaps, for my own amusement. coughnaughtycough

But really, if you think about it hard enough, you could obtain any superpower by having control over matter. You could twist time, alter DNA for telekinetic abilities, alter DNA for stuff, change what a person is thinking by altering their thought patterns, heal the world, stop wars, and so on and so forth!

This power is a bit overpowered though, so if it isn't allowed, I'd take invisibility and/or telekinesis.
