My name IRL is somewhat difficult to pronounce, so I tell most people to call me Arin. It makes a lot of exchanges between people a whole lot easier.

As for me, I guess the only nicknames I can think of are just small variations of names that I have both here and real life. Sometimes people call me Jelli based on my original username and other times a few people call me Chasey(obviously based on Chase). Nicknames don't bother me at all, call me whatever you want if you like!
 
I had this nickname, that developed about 4 years back. I was sitting down, and we had a substitute teacher. While going over rollcall, I expected him to stumble on my complicated name, since his first language wasn't English and he already stumbled on the simple ones. So when he got to my name, he shouted "Is DeeDee here?". Due to how my name is spelled, they're two D's in my name. And he assumed that is what everyone calls me. So he kept correcting me, that my name was DD, he even told me to stop lying :|. So everyone just called me DD, to anger me. But my standard mickname is DJ, since my actual name startes with well, DJ. So that evolved into DJTiKi, for some reason......so just call me DJTiKi, or DJ or TiKi. NEVER DD.

Now I have a sexual connation in my nickname and I hate it.
