4th Gen Im having a Christmas event!

    Its gonna take place either a few days before or after xmas, cuz noone is gonna be on here on christmas unless your a SUPER nerd, have no family, ...or is jewish. lol. So i need a few people to help me organize it, i already thought of the SIX pokemon im gonna give away

    EDIT: Guys, remember that if you're giving 'events', don't hack to give them Cherish balls, etc.

    Just because you're "jewish" or "super nerd" doesn't mean you can't celebrate christmas, also, I think this is kinda spam for now, cuz theres 55 days until christmas.

    Im not minimodding, Im making a suggestion, since the rules state that you can't bump threads over a month old, I don't think you would come to the thread every once in a while to make a post, and it'll probaly be SPAM anyways, since we are 55 days away from this "event", and you can't really post anything more about it.

    not everyone celebrates Christmas or a religious holiday so I'll would probably be on though it would mostly like be Christmas eve since I am about a day ahead:P
     
    call it Christmas... that doesn't matter... the tradition of Christmas is a state of mind more than anything... but there is no need to flat out flaunt religious background superiority or whatnot...

    and to those that feel offended.... don't be ignorant of the fact that Christmas is a holiday of GIVING.

    Also I do NOT celebrate Christmas, cause I am a different religion, and if you got a problem with that come over and we will settle it. Until then stop insulting people based on their beliefs.

    did you seriously fail to read my post, and did you just say "come over and we will settle it"...

    dude I don't even celebrate Christmas... and if you read my post, I said call it what you want... Christmas is a mentality, we're not celebrating the birth of Jesus in PC... lol... this dude wanted to make a giveaway thread, and I'm backing him up on that belief.

    The way I worded it was very blunt and specific... it's not like this is a thread about "I'm giving gifts to those who celebrate Christmas, exclusively" or something borne of a racist manner.

    If its some religious exclusivity thread, then I know exactly where all of you are coming from.....

    this is a public forum open to all people, and on top of that, our common ground is a video game, not a religious background.

    I am Jewish and I celebrate Christmas. Also the fact that Jews do believe in Jesus, we just feel he was not as divine as lead to believe. We feel he was a Jewish man and nothing more.
     
    you celebrate Christmas because half of your family is of the Christian background?

    or your whole familiy and lineage is Jewish and decided to celebrate the birth of Christ?

    why is this turning into a religious debate.... I know how Jewish people view Jesus's prophecy and preaching, and historically what they supported under Pontius Pilate.

    but then again... why would you celebrate a holiday about "a Jewish man and nothing more".

    You celebrate Christmas because of a family thing and for gift-giving... and since you understand that concept of gift receiving, why get so uppity when someone wants to give you a gift.
