am I the only one who, when playing poke'mon says "killing" instead of "fainting"

like when my friend makes my pokemon faint I say "you killed my pokemon"

I kinda got this from habit when I first started playing the games cuz I always thought they fought to kill lol...

Some people use the word "killing" as simply a slang term for words like "fainting" and "KO'ing"
Other people probably use that word in Pokemon battles, you're not the only one.

I say killing, too.. I don't know why. It's just been a habit sinec I was little.

It's easier to say "You killed it!" as opposed to "you made it faint!" so you're not the only one. :|

I think there's less people who say fainted than killing. I say killing in just about everything.

I do.Such as when I accidently made Suicune faint,I would say I "accidently killed Suicune" to someone at school who has an intrest in pokemon.Or when I want to catch a pokemon and I make it faint,I would say i "killed it".Hard habits I can't break.

It's just like saying "You're killing me" when your watching you favorite stand-up comic instead of saying "You are making me laugh" so its like saying "I Killed Entei" instead of saying "I made Entei faint" so it is just a habit and it's qiuck and simple to say!

i say killed too like if im batteling my friend i'm like you killed my pokemon!! and pretty much i always say killed..

eh, I know now...it sounds cooler too to say kill instead of faint lol...

I say owned. Like "Hey dude, I just owned your Mewtwo!"
    ...What? That's not weird... =P

"Killing" sounds better than "fainting" when saying it... fainting just doesn't have that vibe or effect as killing does. xD

When I was younger I used to say "killed," but now I say KO'ed. I don't know why I decided to start saying KO, but to me it's a faster and easier method of saying what happened to the Pokémon. I think I might have started saying KO'ed when I ran around saying that I killed that Pokemon or it killed my Pokemon and my parents thought the game was really violent. >.<

haha yeah, i think a lot of us got that from our parents... in my house we weren't even allowed to say 'kill', it was apparently too violent XD
KO'd sounds good, a lot better than 'fainted' =]

i say killing alot, never mean to and my brother gets angry and says its fainting not killing

Yeah. I say killing rather than fainting.

    Fainting = For Pansies

    XD

I use "kill" and "dead." I'm somewhat desensitized to it after playing as many games as I have. XD

Hmph, i kill pokemon, all the time, what isn't there to kill? xD Oh i forget theres "fainting" sorry, im more for the "kill."

Yeah when I've battled friends I just say 'kill'. I haven't even thought about what I say when Im playing, but I know myself and my friends just say kill or other english slang words which most of you won't know :P

Lol same here but I always knew they really only fainted not died.
