i looked on my LG/FR guide book about shuckle it saya u have to get it in the cave of origin.is it me or is there a cave of origin in LG/FR?if any1 knows were it is plz tell me.
my research indicates that shuckle can only be caught in colloseum. u then need to purify it, finish the game, and trade it over. but of course, everyone already knew that...
in my ruby/sapphire book it doesent show shuckle in da guide book or when u trade pokemon from kanto to hoen does it appear in the cave of origin in R/S?
If you don't get it in Colosseum, then you get it in Altering Cave in FRLG. The only way to get it in there is to use a Wonder Spot (machines that are at some places in real life). They change the Pokemon in Altering Cave, and Shuckle is one of the possibilities.
You'll have to get Shuckle from Colosseum. I probably have the same guide book as you, and that thing has so many errors it's unbelievable (like how it says Meowth evolves at L33 when I got him to evolve at L28, and doesn't even cover certain areas like Cycling Road or the last four of the Sevii Islands)
Nintendo straegy guides suck, so that's why we have online help. =]

Shuckle can be gotten via Colosseum or the Altering Cave (which requires a Wonder Spot [Nintendo Promotion] to be accessed if you plan to see anything else then Zubat there).
