Hey,

I'm Alan, also known as Da Man!

I've played Pokemon since I was 7 years old (on my Gameboy colour) and am still a fan of it. I've even created an online Pokemon MMORPG!

I'm going to study Computer Science in the future at university. This forum seems really cool and active so I joined.

Hey Alan, welcome to PC! ^_^ Glad to see you're using your signature to get the word out about your MMO; that's the best way to advertise projects like those here.

And nice, I started playing when I was 8 or 9 and am also still a huge fan. Pokemon's an amazing franchise, isn't it? Do you have a favorite game? Any plans to pick up the Ruby/Sapphire remakes when they come out in November? Those have me on the edge of my seat so my excitement level is way too high, haha.

And if you're into computer science I recommend the Technology & Internet board as it's our go-to for all programming and computer-related discussions. :) Have fun and see you around!

Ah, good luck on your computer studies! I studied a little bit about computers too, and got my IT A+ certificate, so, there's always something to fall back upon in case the future career I have planned doesn't got.. as great as I would. </3

My first pokemon game was Pokemon Yellow! I assume you've started around the R/B/Y era, yes? Mmm, well either way, feel free to post to your heart's content in our many pokemon topics, and I hope you have doing so!
