    This community means a lot to me and I just want to take the time to apologize to it at whole for my overall buttish behavior every now and then.

    I don't want to make excuses for myself, or try to rationalize it. I know what I'm doing when I say some of the things I say around here. I am consciously aware that the message I'm about to post may not be the most appropriate, and might even be a little bit trollish and troublesome. I've always been a blunt, straight-forward person, but I know when I'm crossing the line to butt and I've done that quite a few times, to say the least.

    I want to clarify that I don't think I'm above the rules, or that I'm special because I used to be on the staff. I'm not an ill willed person. I don't intend at all to hurt anyone's feelings, or make them feel stupid for saying something, including the handful of people that I simply don't like. I apologize to everyone that I made feel that way. I'm sorry for being a butt.

    If you're a senior PC member, you'd know that we know you're straightforward, and sometimes blunt, with your responses, but I can see where you're coming from in the perspective of a new member.

    Honestly, I used to respect you a lot. You held yourself in high regard, in a good way. At the same time you never really put yourself ahead of others, and always articulated your reasoning quite well. While you were never the "happy go lucky approachable" person, you always held an esteem, one of good authority without seeming territorial. That was the Nick I respected, liked, and got on with a lot more. Sometimes I see you post like you used to, but I came to know you more as the character you've just explained in this blog post. So while I don't think you need to apologise for anything at all, I do like that you've acknowledged it, and admitted to it all the same :]
     
    I liked you (I'm straight so in a non romantic way) and I respected you. Still do, will always do.

    But you don't seem to give a ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to me. That's what it has seemed to me like for a while now.

    Edit: seems like 'no homo' means something else. Edited out for clarity. Apologies for any unintended offense. I'm sorry.

    Anyway Nick you above all people know I can be the same way as you. You just need to apologize when you're wrong and accept your faults. We'll love you regardless.
