I cant beleieve I've been hacking for four years and still haven't learned how to make a hack yet. I keep trying but failed. You guys gave me inspiraton to make a new hack: Pokemon Dawning Opal. It's about the Hoenn region being taken over by a TRAINER from a parallel universe. The universe was connected by a device somewhere in space. You must journey through the Hoenn region and stop Astro, the evil trainer.

As for your hacking, since you said you've been trying for a long time, and not done anything successful yet, I would suggest trying to make a hack that is slightly less ambitious than what you described. Imagine it's like learning piano. You can work on scales for four years (like you've been dabbling in hacking for four years), but that doesn't mean you can skip straight to reading and playing complex pieces! However, this is just my opinion, and I suppose I can't stop you from taking on something like that :laugh:

Four years? That must be a long time, imo. I'm surprised that our forum gave you inspiration to make a new hack. But this is the wrong forum to advertise it. If you (still) need help with getting your hack started, my recommendation is to visit the Emulation forum, where you can get the tools, the tutorials and all the help you need to make a successful hack.
