I'm working on it I swear!

I'm still working on my new stuff, but haven't really had the inspiration really to do it. I feel like I pick it up and nothing really strikes me as good. I've made some kind of... chunky stuff that really doesn't fit well with what I like to hear. It's off, too long, too narrow, too bleh. The usual.

One of my big concerns now is the lack of an image to pull inspiration from. I need to craft one myself and I don't feel like screwing it up. I'm thinking a kind of black background with a kiss of colour added to it to bring out some flavour. I don't want to skimp on the stuff and leave with only 8 tracks like last time and am hoping to produce maybe another 12 or an even 15. I try to stay away from things that are over 5 minutes long and so far I think I've done a decent job with these, but finding the sound and def beats is hard sometimes. I don't have a job dedicated to the things and I really want it to pan out and turn out 'good' if it's only just for me.

Hopefully within the next week I can bring something to the table and have at least something to show for it. It's been almost two weeks since I've done anything, really. Or at least it feels that way.
