Suggestion: Images/Videos not allowed to be posted until 100 posts

Adbots actually don't post images due to the rule where you can't post images until you've made 15 posts, nor do any other types of spambots, and I honestly don't see people spamming images/videos often, or even at all, and if so they're dealt with. I just think the 15 post rule seems to cover it completely, without being too high for members who only just joined and want to post images but are hindered by the rule, and not too low for adbots to quickly take advantage of it.
 
Not that I really mind, but you're forgetting that there are some people that are new, or are changing to alternates.
I think that the current 15 post limit is good
 
15 is a good, reachable limit. You're forgetting some legit people join and it's an annoyance to get to 100 posts just to post videos and such, especially for people here for hacking and need to post screenshots of their game. Plus we usually pick up on bots before 15 posts are ever reached.
 
O.O 100 posts is a lot for a newbie to reach. I think we're fine with the 15-post limit...
 
I agree with everyone above, and I know I wouldn't support increasing the limit to something that high, much less increasing it at all.
 
Mmmhmm. Maybe I hang out in the wrong areas, but I rarely ever see much pic / video SPAM, and if any of us catch it we delete it anyway if it actually breaks the rules. Not trying to mean, but I really don't see much of an issue when taking that into consideration. xD; Like the others have said, we usually catch bots, and etc. I think 15 posts is substantial, and raising it to 100 might actually hurt the activity of certain areas.
 
making people get 100 posts might make them make pointless posts untill they reach 100 to post a picture/video
 
Like everyone else I am posting to say that 15 posts is a fine and achievable amount while making it 100 posts would be silly and an annoyance to actual members.
 
I would say that it would seem insignificant a change to have any effect on the perceived problem that this thread has been about. 100 posts would probably reduce the adbot-spam (what little there is of it), but at a cost of many legitimate and disgruntled members who want to post videos/images but can't. 20 posts seems like a tiny change that would have marginal to no effect.
 
To be honest, the amount we already have is good. While some people in specific parts of PC really don't mind how much posts they need as most of them rarely post pictures, people in threads such as the Trade Thread, Warstories, and Hacked Rom Threads will most likely always include pictures. If those people had to get to 100 posts they would go on every thread and post until they had the posts required. This would make some threads be pushed back to page 2 and beyond despite being made a day ago. They would also revive many threads that are a month old and older and this would cause tons of chaos in PC.
