    Here is the age old question, "If you were givin the chance, would you become Immortal?"

    In some cases I would say yes and in some cases no. I would love to live forever to see what becomes of the world. But I would say no because I'd like to go to Heaven one day.
     
    It depends if I aged or not during the time I live.

    If not, maybe.
    If so, no.
     
    of course I would, I wouldn't need to waste money on food anymore, I could live to see some great things and actually complete my to do list
     
    If I actually age, then no. I read a book and what life would be like if you aged while being immortal, and it sucks. And theres a Greek legend on that as well.

    But regardless, I'd still hate to be immortal, because I want to live maybe a prolonged life, but not a exceedingly long and painful one. And theres no way in hell I am outliving my future children, let alone my parents/grandparents.

    Then when I get bored, I can just do something new =D
     
    In most cases, yes, however, in most stories, those blessed with immortality usually resent the fact that they're unable to die and jump at the chance to be able to, mostly because they see so many generations come and go, see their friends and family die, and be unable to do anything about it, as well as be unable to follow them into death, where they could at least be together. Though 8 billion years from now I might rethink the fact of becoming immortal. At least I can't die when the sun goes out and the temperature drops to absolute zero.
     
    I probably wouldn't like to be immortal. As long as there is some afterlife, why the waffles? You would suffer too much.

    Pamela, did you read that book with the family that drank from a pool that gave eternal life and was eventually killed by Disney's evil plots?
     
    I'd love to be immortal. The thought that some day my life will-...mm. The only thing that'd be frustrating would be swapping countries, taking on different personalities (unless of course the world has no problem with an immortal)...but imagine the possibilities. The people you could help, the good you could do, all the fields of study you could learn and master. It'd be epic accomplishments everywhere.

    I like the fact that so many people said yes. All of my friends said no. And also something I want to clear up. True Immortality is obtained by elimitating the 3 main forms of death, Aging, Disease, and Trauma. Also lets say you could pick 4 more people, who would they be, and do you think they would say yes.
