hahaha, I'd say DDR is a pretty good gateway to import games / more bemani games~

does anyone have a Legit Imported Console? I have a J-PS2, but my PSX is modded. Dreamcast doesnt need modifications~ :3

@_@ I've only ever imported DDR MAX2 from the US since they don't sell it here. o_O;

I'd probably only start importing from Japan once I can find my way around things properly in the Japanese language. @_@

I used to worry about that~
but I don't play rpgs or story games much (they dont appeal to me)
so, most menus and stuff are pretty much common sense! You even start to recognise some stuff after a while. Alot of games also have alot of english in them, too.
As far as Japanese goes, I only know how to say about 9 basic phrases and a small small percentage of katakana writing~

i suggest that ur gonna get the ddr for ps2 wit that camera thing where u can see urself dance and it follows motions? To me it looks like when ur on dope and u see all these colors??

I can read most Japanese fine, as long as there's furigana for the kanji. o_o And I can understand some of the basic things people say in the Pokemon games when I play them in Japanese, but it takes me forever to play them since I can't read as fast in Japanese as in English. @_@;;

And I'm outta luck since RPGs are really the only games I play. XD

As you can tell...I have a Japanese PS2. :P Thank god GBA can play universal games...I like playing my games in Japanese better. I wish I got a Japanese Gamecube instead of the American version one.

FFXi has an English setting, but the secret movie at the end is only in Japanese...(the only reason I even wanted the game, XD)
