Impossible situations

Have you ever been put into such a hard situation in a battle and all your attacks are failing. I once had a battle with my friend. He only had his Blissey left. And I had a salamence. But Salamance only had pp for Fire blast, 3 left as well. I use fire blast and I got a critical putting his Blissey at nearly half hp. That blissey got me with toxic. My salamence didn't have much hp either. The toxic got me nearly to red health. My Salamence launched another fire blast but it had missed. My oppenents blissey used soft boiled. That blissey had full health and I had one fire blast. I thought I could struggle it after my last one. But I noticed how that toxic nearly leeched all my Hp. So with my next Fire blast it just missed. My friend Blissey sesmic tossed me my Salamence died right after that costing me the match. Ever since My Salamence has been missing alot of fire blasts.

Have you ever had one of these types of impossible situations? Post your stories here Im interested to hear about them.

I was doing a friendly casual fight with my friend who's up to the sixth gym. We selected level 50 Pokemon each, and I forgot to take out my HM Slave Bidoof. It was my last Pokemon and it only had Cut, Rocksmash and whatever else pointless HMs there was. Needless to say, I lost.

Then again Bidoof = failure nowadays. I did plan to breed a FEAR Rattata and possibly a Riolu but I didn't have the time since my friend was impatient.

Whats a FEAR rattata, and I hate these moments, Its like when you REALLY want to win your pokemon start falling apart

I have the worst one yet. -_-

A few years ago in my Pokemon Yellow game, I was batteling a trainer in Mt. Moon. My other pokemon except Pikachu had fainted. All this other pokemon knew was growl and sand attack (that pokemon didn't kill me, others in other battles did) and I ran out of PP for Thundershock and Quick Attack. I had nothing to cure that. I hadn't saved the game since beofore I got the badge from Brock. -_- That was a terrible moment.

I'll try to condense down the ridiculous fights I had with Commander Jupiter...

First time, Jupiter annihilated all of my Pokémon, and all I had left was a freaken level 5 Zubat against her level 20 Skuntank AND I WON. Thank god for Confusion. I gained five levels off of it. Then reset - I hadn't planned on training the Zubat yet, I just kept it in my party for sentimental reasons. I mean, okay, the Skuntank was in high yellow health when I was forced to send out my Zubat, but I still see that as an accomplishment.
So I fought her again, this time being serious. Knocked out her Zubat, her Skuntank went on the offensive and Night Slashed my Staravia to death, it Screeched at my Luxio, poisoned it, etc., etc., until I completely unintentionally ended up with the same thing --- Zubat vs. Skuntank. Jupiter decided she had enough of me and Night Slashed it to oblivion.
Fought her a third time. The Skuntank alternated between Night Slashing and Smokescreening, so it was tolerable. It fainted my Staravia. I sent out my Luxio. Sparked Skuntank. It was paralyzed. Tackle. Skuntank fainted. I won. Where did all that toughness you displayed last time go, huh, Jupiter? How can you alternate between wiping out my entire team to falling to my second Pokémon? I mean, I know it's all random A.I. move choice, but you'd think that there'd be some kind of medium, at least...

My battles with Fantina are going the same way, with her Drifblim Minimizing, its Aftermath ability, Fantina's Mismagius using Confuse Ray, and her Gengar using Spite, all of my attacks missing, when I finally get a hit it's something that doesn't do much or she uses a Hyper Potion on.

I've come upon a conclusion: I have problems with purple-haired people.

About a week ago, I was battling my younger cousin. He had knocked out 2 of my Pokemon and I had knocked out 5 of his. His last Pokemon was Shedinja. Darn Wonder Guard! He had knocked out my only 2 Pokemon that could get through the Wonder Guard (Froslass with Hail and Lucario with Dark Pulse). It sucked. I just sat there watching my Pokemon slowly faint.

I got stuck fighting a Vespiquen that used nothing but double team and defend order in the battle tower. the thing refused to try and kill me and get it over with it just kept using defend order and DT even though it was already maxed out. took like 15 minutes for me to turn off the game. first time i ALMOST threw my ds into the wall

The basic idea of a FEAR Rattata is to breed it so it knows three moves: Endure, Endeavor, and Quick Attack. Preferably, a FEAR Rattata should just have the right IVs so it will go first and never miss with Quick Attack. It's a trap nowadays for noobs who are sucked into the idea of attacking a worthless level 10 (or below) Rattata with their level 100 Salamance, Arceus, Garchomp, Lucario, or Infernape.

I battled Whitney the Gym Leader with my Quilava level 25. It's Rollout hit me twice and I was on 1 hp, I had hit it aswell and it had aproximatley 5 or less hp. I went first with Ember and I Missed! she hit me with Rollout and i got Knocked out.

I was on the S.S. Anne and I faced Horsea(those wretched things..). I switched to my mankey for some reason and the Horsea started to use smokescreen. Normally I don't mind it but this was ANNOYING! Karate Chop kept missing and I was like down to 6 PP before I hit it and it STILL didn't die. so yeah, there it is.

One time I faced Norman with my Emerald team. I had a hard time beating his annoying Spinda with my Breloom before it used Teeter Dance. Then, his Slaking kept knocking me out, but then I finally beat him. But his Slaking was a problem, I get it down to a small amount of HP, then I faint

The one thing I find strange is at the most random times your moves just fail or miss I just don't get it. I mean today I was fighting elite 4 in diamond training my venasaur. It was a venasaur vs steelix. My venasuar was built for stalling so... I switched to Groudon so Venasaur would get the exp(it had exp.share). Groudons effect is drought I shoot a fire blast and it missed twice. But 3rd time hit and KOed it. And I thought when its sunny certain fire type moves don't miss.

Just the other day I was playing a random battle on Battle Revolution. My opponent had Dialga with roughly 50% HP, and I had my Flygon. I stupidly picked Crunch instead of Earthquake, and I thought it was over. Crunch did nothing (duh), and he let loose a Roar of Time on me. I thought i was done.

    BUT NO.

Flygon survived with 3HP. Dialga had to recharge, and I earthquaked for the win. Gave myself a high five and everything.

Whoa thats crazy. 3hp left and still won, sounds like one tight situation there.
