Improving My Competitive Battling Team (OU)

So the solution is just to ban Darkrai ... ? there's not even a counter for it and its Dark Void ? D; & the sleep clause ... ? I don't get why a rule would be made like that >< The Sleep status was implemented into the game for a reason.

Anyways, what happens if they put more than one of my pokemon to sleep anyways, and break the rule? Do I continue to battle ?

There are counters for it (Scarf Primape with Vital Spirit is one) but Darkrai is uber/banned because it causes over centralization (having to use dumb stuff like Primape in OU shows this) and it can sweep with little effort and sleep everything as you have experienced with its blistering speed.

Sleep Clause makes the game balanced. Without the Sleep Clause the game would be centralized around sleep and trying to stop it. Sleep basically takes a poke out the match and is essentially a free kill, trying to counter sleepers without sleep clause is near impossible (lum/chesto, sleep talk on everything and scarce abilities like Vital Sprit show the lengths you must go and how difficult it is to stop sleepers). Just to clarify, Sleep Clause is you can only sleep one poke at a time, i.e if you kill the current sleeping poke or it wakes up you can sleep another.

And if the clause is broken/they use ubers you get a free auto win basically due to the other player being noob.

Also, i really dont want to keep saying this so ill caps it...BODY SLAM IS SUPERIOR TO SUCK TOSS ON MILTANK, DUE TO THE FACT THAT PARALYZING DARN NEAR EVERYTHING IS WHAT MAKES IT BROKEN IN NU.

One last thing; I'm planning on adding Drain Punch to Infernape. I noticed that Close Combat comes with a really high price - lower Def/Sp.Def . Drain Punch can do considerable damage while regaining health (;

Stick to CC, Power >> Suck. Drain Punch is weak and Ape cant use it effectively anyway because its so darn frail. Close Combats negative effects are moot since you can just switch in and out anyway to negate that.
