  • No matter where this ends up, I'll take a brief review of the team.

It is weak to fighting and ground-types, two of the most common offensive types, so you'll need something that can resist the combination. Gyarados and Gengar are good examples. I advise that you replace the currently banned Blaziken with either of these two Pokemon.

    Lapras- Level 39
Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Body Slam, Surf

    Gallade
Leaf Blade, Psycho Cut, Night Slash, Low Sweep
first of all delete heal pulse and magical leaf since m.leaf is special which comes from gallade's bad sp.attack and heal pulse because you can heal your pokemon with items so it's not a big deal get leaf blade and night slash through move relearner

    Blaziken
Brave Bird, Blaze Kick, Power Up Punch, Slash

    Venusaur
    Venoshock, Toxic, Petal Dance, Double-Edge
delete cut with toxic since venoshock grows in power if the target is poisoned and double-edge instead of razor leaf for no duplicate attacks

    Talonflame
    Flare Blitz,Acrobatics,Steel Wing,Fly
This is the first pokemon to replace and it's instead of pidgeot since pidgeot can't do much on itself the moveset is fairly simple Flare Blitz for a stab fire move Acrobatics instead of brave bird because too much recoil steel wing for them rock types and fly because well fly

    Heliolisk
    Thunderbolt,surf,dark pulse,grass knot
This is the second replacement instead of pikachu since pikachu is weak and heliolisk is like an electric/normal jolteon with access to surf so it's pretty good just make sure you get one with dry skin and it well be alright moveset is pretty simple thunderbolt for stab surf for ground types and is generally a good move to have dark pulse because coverage so is grass knot

    Lapras
Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Body Slam, Surf
For Lapras delete water pulse and put thunderbolt for coverage and that's all about it

and if you would like help, feel free to post an rmt with complete evs, natures and movesets for a complete review. otherwise anything is usable in a non-competitive in-game run.

This is quite a good team, you have pokemon in your team that are widely spread and are resistant to almost every pokemon type, to improve this team i would add pokemon that are resistant against fairy and ground, this will make sure that your team can't be beaten by a certain type of trainer i.e. a ground based pokemon trainer.

For a while, I had a Metagross, then a Zoroark that I bred, but nothing seems right. I was hoping someone could look at the rest of my team then maybe make some suggestions?

This is a good team with a lot of power if used correctly, you have almost no weaknesses in the team except for resistance against flying and fairy.

Your is very weak, as one normal type pokemon can beat it, hawlucha is the only pokemon in your team that has a medium level resistance to normal type pokemon, ven then it can only stand 3 hits before it gets knocked out

You could keep Manectric in your team if you want, but then you should replace Spark and Discharge with Flamethrower and Snarl, respectively. But if you want to replace it, I'd recommend Florges or Roserade. Also, you should replace Yveltal with either Crobat or Gliscor. If you want to use Yveltal in your team, however, you should replace Absol with either Florges or Roserade, and keep Manectric.

As for your Lapras, you should replace Waterfall with Thunderbolt or Psychic for coverage.

  • Team is Incomplete :/

I've been playing Leaf Green and got my team figured out but it's missing one member. I got 7 badges with 5 Pokemon.

Starmie 46 : Hydro Pump, Surf, Psychic, Cosmic Power
Primeape 41: Focus Energy, Strength, Brick Break, Cross Chop
Nidoqueen 53: Crunch, Dig, Ice Beam, Double Kick
Charizard 45: Flamethrower, Slash, Fly, Metal Claw
Jolteon 46: Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Shock Wave, Quick Attack

I'm playing through with a new team I've never tried and can't think of any good Pokemon to pick up. I've thought about a grass Pokemon but I'd rather have Vileplume and I'm not sure their really that necessary. Also put Snorlax into consideration cause he can take a beating and has good attack as well.

So guys, which Pokemon would be a good addition to my team?

Your team seems to have trouble with Psychic types. I recommend that you replace Blaziken with something like Houndoom or Chandelure, since they can deal with those.

As for your sixth team member, Metagross would be just fine. But if it doesn't work for you, you should try Magnezone, Ferrothorn, or Aegislash.

Try a dark-type Pokémon, such as Umbreon. It could counter ghost Pokémon, which your Starmie is super-effective against. It could take down a variety of psychic-types as well. If you're not a fan of Umbreon, then you should probably go with Tyranitar. A good moveset for it would be Dragon Dance, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Pursuit. (:

Your team is looking pretty good for where you are in the game. Your only big weakness would be Psychic and Ground. Though they aren't anything you can't take care of. I'd recommend just trying a Pokemon you're not so fond of. Maybe Muk, Weezing, Porygon, Dodrio, Venomoth etc. I don't think you'll have any issues completing the game if you keep going with what you've got.
