What if there was a program that did hoard battle training without you?
The way it would work would be to somehow send commands to the 3DS that mimic that of the buttons. A set repetition of instructions could allow you to continually hoard battle while the player does something else?
I tracked the button use in what I thought was the quickest and most efficient. For this, I had a Vaporeon in my first party slot with surf in the first move slot. I had a gloom in second slot with sweet scent.
The buttons pressed were as follows:
x, a, right, a, down, a, a,
This causes the gloom to use sweet scent. For the next 19 seconds nothing happens as the sweet scent goes off and the battle intro starts, then...
a, a, a, (Third a is to skip the text quickly)
This causes Vaporeon to use surf on the whismur I was currently fighting. It should be noted that pokemon who level up or learn new moves can throw a wrench in the plan, so I will add a creative use of the buttons to work around the problem:
I could see this -if being put inside a draw loop to repeat ten times- would significantly free up players time to read a book, play video games, or something else. After 10 times the loop would stop to let the player use a leppa berry or check their progress.
So what do you think? Would it be conceivable if we could somehow get a hold of the 3DS console commands? I've heard of apparent ways to detect clone and hack pokemon, but I don't think this will be affected by it.
