So I actually never thought I'd ever try to write fanfic. Although back then I was so focused into art and graphics that I didn't really consider being writer.
So obviously this is my first story and I'm giving this writer thing a shot. Comment, Criticize - Lay it on me. I want to improve as much a writer as when I started as artist and from being an artist I'm used to criticism.

    Inazuma Eleven: Twins at Heart
Endou and the gang are now in their final year at Raimon Jr. Meet first year student Taiki Kazuo an eager soccer player hoping to get into the team. But the team can sense there's something deep in his past. Can the gang uncover Taiki's past & help him?

    Chapter 1: A New Beginning

    "Endo-Kun… Endo-Kun… ENDO-KUN!"

"Whaa!" Endo yelled in surprise before falling of the desk he had been sleeping on. The school day hadn't even started and Endou Mamoru had already fallen asleep on his desk the minute he came walked in the door of class 3-B. He had been watching a video Fideo Ardena had sent him which had a collection on Orpheus's prelim games as well FFI Block B match. The match containing Spain's Red Matador against France's Rose Griffon especially kept him up that particular night.

It had been a few months since Inazuma Japan had won the Football Frontier International and Endou and the gang were already into their third year of Junior High School. The members of the team who were originally first year students were now second year students and now young Utsunomiya Toramaru, who at the start of the FFI was only in the sixth grade had now entered Raimon as a first year.

"ENDOU-KUN!" Aki shouted again at the soccer club's captain who sat next to her looked close to collapsing on his desk again. The manager who had been struggling to keep the captain awake before the start of class was about to give up altogether until suddenly a book was wacked on the back Endou's sleeping head.

"OWW!" Endou's head suddenly jolted up as he glared at the former forward. "Gouenji, What the heck was the for?"

"Serves you right for watching those videos late at night" His best friend replied smugly while taking his seat behind him "Next time he falls asleep just wack him in the head with a book, preferably those thick Alpha Trigonometry text books. Believe me it works all the time" He quickly whispered to Aki who tried to hide her giggle.

"Hey it wasn't my fault that Red Matador and Rose Griffon had such an amazing game!" Endou said recalling the match he watched last night obviously not catching the whisper Aki and received from Gouenji.

"Oh that reminds me, Gouenji-kun did you ask the others if they were eating with us at lunch?" Aki asked.

"Yeah I did" Goenji replied. "They all said they were going to eat with us on the rooftop… except for Torumaru. He said his Sensei needed him at lunch, I hope he didn't get into trouble or anything"

"Yea I wonder…"Aki murmurs as she drifts into her thoughts only to be woken up by the sound of Sensei walking into the room and Gouenji wacking Endou's head again with the book.

Outside the large gates of Raimon Junior High, a boy of twelve stared out onto the tall lightning bolt building. His ocean blue eyes widened at the sight of the school's impressive looking soccer. His red goggles perched up on his forehead, gleamed in the sunlight. "So this is Raimon Junior High, huh?" the boy smirks.

He pulls out a silver dog tag hidden beneath his shirt and looks at it. He brushes his thumb against the small "T.K" engraved in the centre of the dog tag before tightening his fingers around the small tag.

"Wait for me Aniki, we'll play again soon" the boy murmurs to himself while looking above at the blue sky before tucking the dog tag back under his uniform heading to the open gates of Raimon Junior High School

Two floors down from class from the third year's floor, Torumaru gazed out of the window at the soccer field outside. His hand holding his head upright as he watched a flock of birds fly out of the view while his sensei marked the roll.

    "Utsunomiya Toramaru"

"Hai" he replied as his Sensei marked him down as present. He hadn't told anyone yet but Sensei had asked him to show the new student around during lunch. Who knows? Maybe he or she was a soccer player like he was and would join the soccer club.

His cloud of thought was broken when his Sensei started to speak again. "Class we have a new student today, please treat him nicely"

"So it was a boy" Torumaru thought as he heard the girls in class squeal hoping the new student would be a cute or hot boy instead of some nerdy and unattractive one.

Torumaru could only look up and stare as the door open and the new student walked in

    From here.

    A review seemed appropriate.

Anyway, not familiar with the fandom, but a quick read-through of your fanfic tells me that you're definitely a cut above most newbie writers who start in the business. You have basic grammar and formatting almost down for instance. Things you need to improve on are:

    1) You have to put a comma after dialogue if it precedes a dialogue tag (eg: he said, she said, he shouted, etc)
    For instance
"Serves you right for watching those videos late at night," his best friend replied smugly.
On that same note, a dialogue tag is usually left uncapitalised.

    2) You've formatted the entire piece, probably also your post, with Franklin Gothic Medium? I mean, I guess it's probably better than comic sans or a decorative font like monotype corsiva, but it's not really a suitable typeface for having to read large amounts of text because it's a bit strenuous on the eyes to be honest. I suggest either using the default typeface or at least an easily readable one, most usually the default.

Besides that, I can't really spot anything jarring. Things like characterization and plot writing you really only perfect with experience and advice, of which my only advice is to stray away from cliches and to try and be original. This may be a slight nitpick in relation to that, but your character with the dog tags seems to fall into the person/or jerk with a mysterious past trope, just because he smirks and mentions something vague about his big brother. I mean, that's not much to base this assumption on, but you have to realise that a lot of your readers' perceptions in writing, not just fanfic writing, are based upon what you show your reader. Telling them something is one thing, but most characterization comes from the tiny minutia you insert into your character's mannerisms like, say, 'smirking' for instance, which kinda conveys to me the feeling that your character is pretty smug about himself. I guess this could be your intent, but I'll point it out regardless to demonstrate the power of showing and how you can use this to your advantage if you've been doing it more or less instinctively before this.

Also, I guess the last thing I want to point out is that you switch to present tense when writing about the mystery kid.

Yeah, don't do that. I won't go on about how it's a bad idea to use present tense in narration if you're just starting out and aren't trying to write experimental fiction, because that's not so much the case here as it is a simple mistake, but I will say that convention dictates you use past tense when writing because you are always telling your readers what your characters have done a few seconds ago, at least, if it's in the present and if you take the present to be whenever the reader reads the piece.

I laughed when I read that because I just received my formal writing practise assignment back from my english teacher and she said the exact same thing. Now that two of you have said it I doubt I'll forget now.

    2) You've formatted the entire piece, probably also your post, with Franklin Gothic Medium? I'll keep that in mind to take it of my default when I post my chapters! Never knew that.

    From here.

I've never caught onto things like that. I know that both a reader and a writer and with more experience being a reader than I writer I know that as a reader, you can pick things and little mistakes up easier than the writer can. Either way I'm going to use to my advantage a long with everything else.
I somewhat want to stay away from clichés. There are some fics I've seen that work written clichés but it still has some originality that makes it work as a clichés.

Also, I guess the last thing I want to point out is that you switch to present tense when writing about the mystery kid.

Somewhat problem I've had for some reason I always have a problem with tending to mix my tenses when I write both stories and essays. I though that maybe if I started writing fics that maybe that problem might go away. But thanks for spotting it out. I'm still edgy about that problem.

I'll keep all of these things in mind when I write my third chapter.
I've got my second here.. though the thing here is that this chapter has a lot more dialogue than the other:

Chapter 2: Too the rooftop! Lunch awaits us!

Torumaru didn't think he could take any more squealing from the row of girls who sat behind him as the boy stepped into the classroom – not that he had anything against him or anything but he had more concern for his ear as they were about explode from the sound of the girls' squeals.

The boy was definitely a girl's definition of cute. He wore the signature Raimon Junior High uniform but on him the yellow lightning bolts on his arms seemed to glow brighter. Along with the uniform he had the lightning bolt sachet and a pair of white tennis shoes. His ocean blue eyes gleamed confidently while his mouth gave a shy smile making it hard to tell whether he was assured or nervous. His spikey dark brown hair fell straight down till slightly under the ear was topped with lighter brown highlights. A pair of shiny red goggle sat half on top of his forehead and the other half on his spikey hair.

"Hi, umm.. I'm Kazuo, Taiki," he spoke, clear nervousness in his voice "Please to meet you"

"Kazuo, mind telling us a bit about yourself?" Sensei spoke.

"Umm…" he started. "I'm from Olivine City, I used to go to Ouran Academy and I like to play soccer." He smiled again, once at the class and once at Sensei.

"Very good Kazuo, please take a seat in front of…" he looked around the room for a seat. "Utsunomiya Toramaru" he said as he pointed to the empty desk in front of me. "Utsunomiya, raise your hand"

"Soccer… just as I thought," Torumaru thought happily to himself as he smiled at Taiki who had sat down in front of him.

Much to his displeasure, the girls in the back row decided to let out another squeal. Coming from such a high ranked school such as Ouran Academy as well as playing soccer did seem to leave a good impression at the girls in this school.

    After Homeroom

"Hey wait up!" Torumaru yelled as he caught up to his new classmate who had started walk to his next class.

Taiki turned and let out a small smile as Torumaru caught up to him.

"Kazuo Taiki, right?" he asked as he held out his hand. "I'm Utsuno-"

"-mia, Torumaru," Taiki finished "I watched some of your games at the last years Football Frontier International, you're an amazing forward Utsunomia-san," He said as he bowed.

"Utsunomia-san!" Torumaru exclaimed. "Please call me Torumaru. That's what everyone calls me, and besides we're the same age!"

"Ok then Torumaru, please call me Taiki," he smiled as Torumaru let out a grin to his new friend.

After asking what classes Taiki had, they noticed they were pretty much in most of each other classes.

"So you said you played soccer in class" Torumaru asked as they walked to Maths." What positions do you play?"

"Mid- GOALKEEPER!" Taiki shouted, trying best to cover his slip of the mouth. Unfortunately Torumaru noticed the slip.

"Mid-goalkeeper! Haha that's a funny postion" laughed Torumaru

"Heh, I meant goalkeeper sorry" Taiki replied sheepishly

"That's ok!" Torumaru grinned back at him. "But goalkeeper, ne? I've got to take you to see Captain and Tachimukai! They're great goalkeepers too! I'm sure captain will be ecstatic seeing as any new members we've had never play goalkeeper."

"Really? You'd really take me to see the Captain and goalkeepers of Inazuma Japan." the grin on his face was no longer a shy smile but a grin that matched Torumaru's.

"Of course I would, you can even eat lunch with us if you wanted to! Though I promised Sensei I'd show you around first, so we'll do that and then eat."

"Awesome!" Taiki grinned again before the two new best friends took their seats in maths.

"Finally!" Endo stretched his arms as he, Gouenji and Kidou walked from their fourth period class "I thought class would never end!"

"Everyday feels longer for you when we have soccer practise at the end of a school day." Kidou Yuuto grinned at his other best friend

"Haha that's true!"Endou laughed at his goggled friend.

Gouenji grinned along with his two best friends as they grabbed their lunch and headed towards the rooftop.

    "It is too!"

    "It is not!"

    "It is too!"

    "It is not!"

"IT IS TOO! Gold is one of the least reactive solid chemical elements, did you even pay attention in class?" Fuusuke Suzuno better known as Gazel retorted his calm looks gaining a look of annoyance

"IT IS NOT! Gold is like sodium, shiny and powerfully reactive," shouted Nagumo Haruya or Burn who had a frustrated look on his face.

After transferring to Raimon Junior High for their final year, the ex-Aliea Academy members had immediately signed up for the soccer club. Even though they were now on the same team, Burn and Gazel still had plenty of differences to settle.

"I hate to say this Burn, but Gazel's right with that one," Kiyama Hiroto interrupted the two arguing ex-captains of Aliea Academy's "Chaos".

"WHAT! YOU TOO GRAN!" Burn shouted at his rival and ex-captain of Aliea Academy's first ranked team "Genesis"

"Well it's not your fault you were off in daydream land during chemistry, Tulip-kun," teased Midorikawa Ryuuji as he caught up to the other three.

"DON'T CALL ME TULIP-SAN, TULIP-KUN, OR WHATEVER FOR THE LAST TIME MY HAIR IS A FLAME NOT A TULIP!" Burn yelled as he let off steam.

"Woah, Woah! Cool it flame boy, let's go otherwise everyone else would've eaten all the food by the time we reach the roof," Hiroto said putting up his hands in defeat as Gazel and Midorikawa grabbed an arm each of Burn and dragged him towards the roof as Hiroto sighed as he reluctantly followed.

"Kougre, is that hot sauce you're carrying!" second year Haruna Otonashi yelled trying to grab the small bottle of hot sauce from the small soccer player.

"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't," Kougre smirked as he kept the bottle from out of her grasp.

Raimon's three other managers as well as Fubuki Shirou, Tobitaka Seiya and Tachimukai Yuuki literally sweatdropped as they watched the scene play in front of them as they were carried the "feast" lunch they had cooked up during their study period.

Before he was able to let out his signature laugh a hand had grabbed Kougre's collar and held him up. This time however it wasn't Haruna who had grabbed his collar like always but it was Fudou Akio, Raimon's second strategist who with the other four and the rest of Inazuma Japan minus Hijikata and Tsunami (who was now at Oumihara high school) had transferred to Raimon for their final year.

"Brat, give it here," he murmured irritably as he easily grabbed the bottle off the prankster and gave it to Haruna as she blushed at the strategist.

Kougre frowned, "Ne, you guys are no fun," He said before dashing off, probably to nab a new bottle of hot sauce from his locker.

"Don't mind him Otonashi, he's always trouble," Fudou let out a small smile at Haruna as he noticed the other six had left for the roof. Haruna blushed again as they made their way up the roof.

"Ar-are you sure they'll like me," Taiki stuttered nervously as Torumaru finished a quick tour of the school and started heading for the rooftop.

"Of course they would!" Torumaru said, "Don't worry about being nervous, I was just as nervous as you when I met Captain.. I couldn't even say anything. Same with the rest of the team, the first time I met everyone, I was the only elementary soccer player I thought they wouldn't accept me, but they still accepted me all the same. Chill Taiki, they'll like you for sure!"

Taiki could only gulp nervously as Torumaru opened the door to the rooftop…

    Chapter 3: Meeting the team

Who knew that you could cook and bake that much in the time of two hours? Haruna, Fudou, Fubuki, Tobitaka and Tachimukai as well as the other three managers Aki Kino, Natsumi Raimon and Fuyuka Kudou had cooked up a mega feast for the team. Torumaru and Taiki had opened the door to the rooftop and literally sweat dropped at the sight of the gang who had already half devoured the banquet.

The rooftop was merely just a caged box surrounding the large building roof. At the corner left from the door Torumaru and Taiki had walked through the gang sat. Some sat, backs against the wired fence while the rest sat on the concrete floor. As Torumaru and Taiki started walking towards the rest of the team, Torumaru realised they were the last ones to reach the rooftop.

"I think the defence will need to be tighter around here when…" Kidou explained to the Captain and his fellow ex-Teikoku Academy teammates. Endou and Kidou sat on the ground in deep conversation, probably about strategy and about their next game. Sakuma, Fudou and Genda (Yes, Genda had transferred to Raimon as soon as he had heard Sakuma had) listened intently to their conversation while nodding occasionally.

"Did you see that shirt? It was so cheap!" Aki told the other three intently listing girls. The managers conversed in their usual girl talk which consisted of clothing and boys in their own little group not too far away. The other three forwards consisting Someoka, Gouenji and Fubuki as well as Kazemaru, Shadow, Handa, and Max were also having a conversation of their own consisting of a variety of things.

    "HOT! HOT! HOOOOOOOOT!"

Kougre was away slipping hot sauce into the other first years' (Consisting of Kabeyama, Kurimatsu, Shishido, Shourin and including Megane) food when they weren't looking. After Fudou had taken away his small bottle of hot sauce earlier, Kougre had replaced it with a bigger bottle of EXTRA hot chilli sauce that was part of the "storage" he kept in his locker. Kageno, Tachimukai as well Domon and Ichinose who had recently returned from America sweat dropped and laughed as the group of first years plus Megane ran around the rooftop with spicy flames shooting from their mouths.

"Ushishishishi," Kougre sniggered at the successful prank he had pulled.

    "It's mine!"

    "It's mine!"

    "NO! It's mine!"

    "NO! It's mine!"

Hiroto and Midorikawa face palmed once more as Burn and Gazel fired into another argument.

"STOP BEING SO GREEDY TULIP BOY! YOU'VE HAD FIVE RICE BALLS ALREADY, I DESERVE THE LAST ONE!" Gazel glared at him. One hand holding the rice ball away from him, the other hand on his face pushing him far away from the rice ball as far as his arm stretched.

    "GIVE IT HERE WHITEY!"

    "WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!"

"I CALLED YOU WHITEY, YA LIKE THAT, WHITEY! BECAUSE THERE IS PLEANTY MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM!"

Gazel had had it. Being called "Whitey" in resemblance to his hair taken it too far the icy stiker. Gazel smirked as he took a humongous bite out of the rice ball. Burn could only watch furiously as Gazel chewed intently at the rice ball's remaining pieces. Seeing the steam that started coming out of his ears, Hiroto and Midorikawa took two big steps backwards before…

"THAT'S IT WHITEY! YOU'RE GOING DOWN!" Burn yelled as he attempted to lunge at Gazel while Hiroto and Midorikawa tried their hardest to pull Burn away from the grinning white haired forward.

Torumaru grinned at the commotion which lay in front of them, none of which had noticed the two new arrivals.

"Oi! Minna!" Torumamru yelled as he tried to get the attention of his fellow teammates. Taiki instinctively hid behind him as the familiar faces he'd only seen on TV as they turned to look at the two.

"Hey Torumaru! you didn't get into trouble, did you?" Gouenji teased his partner forward who grinned in response while a few others laughed.

Endou cocked his head sideways as he noticed the nervous newcomer who hid behind Torumaru. "Ne, Torumaru who have you got with you?" he said as he stood up and walked towards them.

Noticing that Taiki had nervously hid behind him, moved aside to introduce the shivering first year.

"Minna! This is Kazuo Taiki. He transferred here today over from Ouran Academy over at Olivine City. He plays soccer too!"

"You play soccer too!" Endou's soccer obsessiveness taking over shaking Taiki's hand hard like he did to Tachimukai's when they had first met.

"Hai" Taiki replied as he shook his hand back. "Please call me Taiki! It's an honour to meet all of you." Taiki bowed at Endou and at the rest of the team.

"What position do you play Taiki?" Endou eagerly at Taiki who gave a shy smile.

"G-g-goalkeeper," Taiki stuttered both nervous to keep himself from slipping and still nervous from meeting Inazuma Eleven.

"GOALKEEPER!" Endou's eyes sparkled while Genda and Tachimukai grinned at each other knowing that they had a new goalkeeper pal.

"YOU'RE A GOALKEEPER TOO!" Endou dragged his new 'apprentice' down to sit with the rest of the team.

"H-h-hai," smiled in reply as he sat down with the team feeling more welcomed than ever.

"So, what are your hissatsues like?"

"What was all your old school team like?"

"How long have you been playing for?"

All attention was now aimed at Taiki who sweat dropped as he attempted to answer the questions that were thrown at him. He'd start to answer a question before another was thrown at him and he'd tried to answer that one. Eventually he was able to answer each question until…

    "Do you have any siblings?"

Silence fell upon Taiki as his face darkened and he looked at the ground to prevent the team from seeing his face.

"Taiki, over here! Pass the ball,"

    "Let's go Aniki!"

Endou's voice brought him back down earth as he realised the silence that he had created.

As soon as he saw Taiki's face harden, Endou knew it was time to change subjects. "So, we have practise this afternoon right after school, do you want to play soccer with us?"

His question seemed to have broken into his thoughts, "Y-y-you really want to play soccer with me?"

"Of course I… I mean we would love! Right minna"? Endou said as he looked back at his team who nodded and grinned at their soon to be team mate.

"Why did I not just ask Torumaru to take me to the next class" Taiki thought as he ran down the concrete path already five minutes late for his next class. Sure Ouran Academy was a big school but Raimon was just as big and he'd only JUST got used to where everything was back at Ouran.

Taiki looked down at the ground as he ran as he tried to recall his steps as well as the set of directions that Torumaru had given him just before lunch had ended. Unfortunately Torumaru's class was in the opposite direction and was the only class they didn't share.

He conti nued to run deep in his thoughts until…

    BAM!

Not looking where he was going, Taiki had tripped on his own feet causing him to fall over, face plant and drop his books while a few third year boys just passed by and laughed at him.

"Are you ok?" He heard a voice call him.

He looked up and saw a girl about his age running towards him. She had the most beautiful sparkling emerald green eyes he had ever seen in his life. The autumn sun glimmered off her stunning pitch black hair which highlighted her fair skin well. She placed down the roles of paper she was carrying before helping Taiki to stand up.

"Are you ok Taiki-kun? You took quite a fall there," She asked before giving a small smile.

Taiki rubbed his knees feeling the light soreness on them. His school pants had protected him from getting a serious graze but they still did hurt a little.

"Thanks, and I'm fine umm…" Taiki looked her trying to catch a name.

"Hitomi, Hitomi Kawano," Hitomi smiled again. "I was in your Maths class this morning."

Taiki beamed as he remembered the familiar face. "You're the one who sits by the window on my row, right?"

"Yup that's me!" Hitomi grinned before asking, "So what class do you have now, if you don't mind me asking. You seemed a bit lost."

She started to pick up the roles of paper she had dropped earlier. Taiki bent down and started helping her.

"Oh yea… I have Art and I'm ten minutes late already. Great way to start my first art lesson, ne?"

"Oh so you're in my Art class too!" Hitomi asked excitedly before she and Taiki started heading for the Art House. "It's ok, sensei won't be mad at you because your new and I was running an errand for him as well so we both won't get in trouble. Let's walk together, k,"

Taiki lightly blushed as she grabbed his hand and lead him in the direction of the Art House.

"Ok," he said as he let out a smile.

    Chapter 4: The Goalkeeper's Trial

The Art House was a small white building located north of the main building. It was a small two storey building with wide windows around the building exposing the wonderful view of the ocean far away.

Already ten minutes late to class, Taiki and Hitomi couldn't help but wish that the Art House was a bit closer. Either way Taiki being lost and Hitomi doing errands, both wouldn't have been late to class. The classed stared at the two latecomers as they entered the room and the Sensei approached them.

"Nice of you to join us Hitomi, finished those errands I expect," Hitomi nodded to the art Sensei who smiled before turning to Taiki.

"Kazuo Taiki, am I right? Welcome to Art, I hope you didn't get to lost," he smiled at Taiki

"Sumimasen Sensei, I was lost and Hitomi helped me find my way," Taiki bowed in response to the elderly art teacher.

"It's alright! Everyone gets a bit lost on their first day," he smiled once more before motioning to Hitomi, "Hitomi, why don't you help Taiki find his way round this period and explain to him what we do in this class."

Hitomi grabbed his arm and pulled him to a table, the action making the other girls in the room slightly jealous.

"So unlike other schools we don't really have much of an agenda on what we have to do. You see Sensei Daichi says it is important to find ourselves in our art," she explained.

Taiki nodded, "So technically that means we can do whatever we want? Awesome! Is there any paper anywhere?"

"Yea, there should be in the drawer behi…" her voice drifted when she realised that there was no more paper.

The two walked up to Sensei Daichi who was looking at another student's painting.

"Sensei, there's no more paper in the back drawer, may we go into the store room and get some more?" Hitomi asked politely.

"Of, course you may Hitomi. But please bring Taiki with you so he'll know where to go next time. Oh and can also grab a few bottles more of Blue, red, yellow and black paint. It seems they've all run out."

The two climbed the small group of stairs up to the second floor of the building making their way to the storeroom at the very west end of the floor.

They grabbed all the things they needed, Taiki carrying the many bottles of paint and Hitomi carrying the big pile of paper.

"You all right their Taiki-kun? You sure you can carry all those paints by yourself?" she asked as they approached the stairs back down.

"Yea, don't worry about me I… Woaahh!" Taiki yelled as an unknown figured slammed into him making him fall down the small set of stairs along with the unknown figure.

"Taiki-kun! Seiko! Are you guys alright!" he could hear Hitomi's voice from up the stairs as he rubbed his throbbing head.

Luckily the fall down the stairs wasn't too bad and Taiki only felt his head slightly throbbing. His vision now unblurring he could tell that the 'unknown' figure was in fact a girl. In fact he had recalled seeing her during homeroom that morning two rows in front of him. Of course he couldn't forget her, her familiar orange hair which fell down to about her chin mixed well with her sparkling yellow eyes. Her wide childish smile tinted against her pale skin matching the bubbly personality he had seen that morning.

"Sumimasen, I slipped and accidentally bumped into you," the girl said sheepishly looking at the ground.

"It's ok! As long as you're not badly hurt then there's no harm done it was only an accident" Taiki smiled rubbing the back of his head.

"Taiki-kun, this is Renshii Seiko. She's been one of my best friends here since Raimon Elementary" Hitomi said patting her friend on the shoulder who now a wide smile on her face.

"Nice to meet you Renshii," He said before the three picked up the dropped paint bottles and went to the bottom floor.

"Hmm… so where's Shizuka Sempai? … I thought I felt a little Red and Black missing today," Hitomi looked around the classroom. The three sat around a table to the left of the classroom, all three talented artists were painting.

"Well, the Chairman asked if she could speak to him during study… I haven't seen her since." Seiko replied.

"Shizuka…Sempai?" Taiki looked up at the two questionably.

"Oh right… we've been talking so much to you, I keep forgetting it's still your first day." Hitomi said, "Anyway Shizuka Sempai… well her name is Shizuka Amaterasu."

"She's a great artist." Seiko added

    "But she's like sixteen."

"And she's in half of my classes, all first year classes… and she's supposed to be in High School."

"But according to what some say, apparently for reasons she takes classes in different years."

"But no one really knows what!"

"But I reckon she'll be in some of your classes, so you don't have to keep wondering Taiki-kun." Hitomi smiled as she and Seiko finished their double lecture on the student Taiki had yet to meet.

    After school

"… and this is the club room," Torumaru said as he turned the corner leading towards the soccer club room. Both boys had changed into their uniforms straight after class in hope to reach the club room first. Torumaru was wearing his signature Raimon soccer uniform, a yellow shirt with blue sleeves and had a big eleven engraved on the back of his shirt. With that he a pair of blue raimon shorts, long white socks and green football shoes with the Raimon lightning bolt on it. Taiki wore his old Goalkeeper uniform which consisted of a black long sleeve top with a thick neon green line that tore through the middle of the black shirt. He also wore a pair of black shorts and sneakers with two thin sets of neon green lines running vertically down each side of the shorts.

The boys dumped their bags onto a table in the club room before heading out into the empty field. The third and second years' both had an exam on that day and were going to be let out later so Taiki and Torumaru decided to have a bit of practise before the others came.

"KOI! BRING IT ON!" Taiki yelled excitedly as Torumaru tore down the field towards the goal.

"HAI!" Torumaru yelled back as he let out strong kick aiming at the top right hand corner of the goal.

Taiki responded quickly to the kick as he swiftly jumped in the direction he knew the ball was going to before catching the ball, gripping it firmly in his hands.

Both took time to take in the other player's strength.

"That was a really good kick," Taiki told Torumaru as he drew himself back onto earth.

"I didn't think you'd be able to catch that," Torumaru replied. "I was sure you'd miss."

They kept at it for several minutes more not noticing that the final bell had rung and that the second and third year students were already out. Taiki and Torumaru kept on playing, Taiki catching the balls and Torumaru kicking them.

    ______________________________________________________________

"I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE NEED TRIG IN LIFE!" yelled a frustrated Endou, the team and managers were walking towards the field already in their uniform.

Kidou who had spent the last ten minutes trying to explain to Endou the usefulness of Trigonometry had given up all together trying to convince the talented goalkeeper once they had reached the field.

As the team reached the field they noticed the small battle going on between Torumaru and Taiki who had started from just plain competitive kicks to a full on use of hissatsu moves.

"Let's see if you could catch this!" Torumaru smirked at Taiki before releasing his signature move.

    "TIGER DRIVE!"

Torumaru stomped his foot hard on the ground before kicking it with strong tiger like power.

Taiki who had seen this move several times watching the previous FFI knew what to expect. Even if this was the first time he come across it face to face, he felt confident.

"FUSION BOLT!" Taiki's arms crossed together in an X postion while his fists started charging electricity. As his fists completed their electrical charge, an electric rectangular shield was created in front of Taiki. The strong Tiger driven ball hit against the shield before bouncing off easily, not leaving a single scratch.

Taiki grinned at Torumaru as he caught the ball which fell down from the impact.

"NO WAY! THAT WAS AWESOME TAIKI!"

The two turned as they saw Endou running up them, the rest of the ones who were there slowly following.

"DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE HISSATSU!" Endou yelled at the newer goalkeeper who was obviously in shock from Endou's sudden outburst.

"H-h-hai, of course I do, would you like to see them?" He asked before he was once again being lead to the goal.

"ATOMIC FLARE!" Burn yelled as he jumped high, kicking the ball and taking up fire from the sun.

"X-SCISSOR!" Taiki jumped towards the flaming ball crossed his arm as a red cross appeared in front of his arms. As soon as the ball made contact with the red cross it was rebounded.

"Heh, stupid baka can't even beat a first year," Gazel snickered at the 'tulip head'

"Why you little…" Burn muttered before once again trying lunge and Gazel who was laughing.

He was only stopped by impact of Hiroto hitting the back of his head with the trigonometry book he was still carrying.

"Owww, damn it Gran!" Burn yelled as he rubbed his bruised head.

Gazel just laughed even harder until Hiroto did the same to him "Owww… GRAN!"

Gazel and Burn both looked at Hiroto, then at each other before both tried charging at the other red head.

"ENOUGH YOU TWO!" Midorikawa yelled standing hands up shielding Hiroto from the two steaming forwards. "Practise isn't the time to be killing each other."

The rest of the team watched and sweat dropped once again to the four arguing 'aliens' before turning to Taiki.

"I never knew you were this strong Taiki," Torumaru grinned at him.

"Yea! Even I can't stop his shoots!" Tachimukai added while Genda smiled and nodded at Tachimukai's statement.

"MANYOUREALLYAREAMAZINGICAN'TWAITTOPLAYWITHYOUTAIKI!" Endou yelled too fast too excitedly.

"A-a-arigato," Taiki smiled at the many compliments given to him.

"… and now all we have to do is see if you can play in any other postitions." Kidou explained to him.

"O-Other P-positions?" Taiki asked. "But all I want to play is goalkeeper."

"Endou used to only want to be a Goalkeeper too, but we found he had to be potential to Libero too. We'll just get you to play a little forward, defence and midfield and show us what you can do."

    …Playing Midfield... again

"Promise to only play as midfielder when we're together again, kay?" The older twin said to the younger one.

"Okay, Aniki! I promise!" The younger one grinned at his twin as they clutched the other's hand in a sealed promise.

Taiki gulped inwardly as it came back to him.

Kidou looked at him again, "We'll take a five minute break then we'll see you in the other positions."

Taiki let himself fall onto the ground and took a deep breath. He hadn't realised how tired he was from playing Torumaru until now.

"Here, Taiki-kun!" He looked up and saw Hitomi holding out a water bottle at him and Seiko holding out a towel.

"Hitomi! Renshii! What are you guys doing here!" Taiki exclaimed as he stood up.

"We're part of the team too!" Seiko said in her usual bubbly manner, "Well Hitomi is a manager but she plays really well too!"

"Wow! That's awesome, so I get to play with you guy toos!" Taiki grinned before heading back out to the field.

After trying out as both a forward and defender it was time for Taiki to try out for midfielder.

Taiki had been an average player when it came to forward and defence so it wasn't much of a hassle, but when it came to playing midfield he was already matching with top. He weaved his way in and out of the opposing defenders and could read the movements of the players before they moved. By the end of the session the whole team was mouth dropped.

"Why don't you play as Midfielder too, Taiki-kun?" Fubuki asked curiously.

    "Umm… n-no… r-reason," Taiki stuttered, "Uhh… I have to go early… I promised I was g-going to home early today"

Taiki quickly excused himself as he left the field with the rest of the team wondering.

Chapter 5: The Development Team… And it's Captain

"Why don't you play as Midfielder too, Taiki-kun?" Fubuki asked curiously.

    "Umm… n-no… r-reason," Taiki stuttered, "Uhh… I have to go early… I promised I was g-going to home early today"

Taiki quickly excused himself as he left the field with the rest of the team wondering.

The team watched as Taiki ran out of the school grounds. Kidou and Fudou looked at each other silently question each other if something was wrong with being a midfielder, while Genda and Tachimukai also looked at each other then at Endou who kept staring out the gate of the school.

    "Was it something we said?"

"Is he… ok?" Aki wondered aloud, but everyone knew that something was up with their new team member.
    ______________________________________________________________

Taiki was out of breath by the time he reached home. He narrowly escaped having to play midfielder again. After all they promised each other never to play midfielder again unless they were on the same field. It was already dark by that time and his grandparents had already turned on all the lights in the house. His house was a large two story house, which like the rest of the houses in the neighbourhood was quite common. He also lived on the 'wealthy' part of the city so

As he walked through the front door, he could smell the smell of freshly cooked Tofu ready to be eaten.

"BA-CHAN! JI-CHAN! I'M HOME!" Taiki yelled as he walked into the main hall dumping his stuff on the way to the dining room.

Taiki poked his head into the connected kitchen and dining as he saw his grandparents setting up for dinner.

"Taiki, welcome home! Dinner's almost ready." His grandmother said putting down the last plate on the table.

The three of them sat down, said grace and dug into the tofu. Most of dinner was spent asking how his first day at his new school went and (mostly his grandpa) asking him about soccer and Raimon's team. Eventually Taiki had finished dinner and excused himself and thanked his grandparents for the nice dinner.

He ran up the stairs too his room to get started on his homework.

"Maths, Physics, English…" He scanned the homework he had received on his first day. He decided to work on Physics since the other two were due later that week and he had circuit problems that were due in the next day.

    "erm… six volts…" he muttered as he chewed the tip of his pen before writing the answer down on the sheet of paper. He stood up to grab his bag which sat at top his bed only just noticing his phone vibrating on his desk. The screen glowed a bright green read one word;

    'Aniki'

    ______________________________________________________________

Torumaru had a difficult time trying to drag an almost asleep Taiki to physics the next morning from homeroom. From the looks of it, Taiki did not get enough sleep the night before and being tired on the second day of a new school wasn't quite a good look.

"Ne, you should've stayed at home if you were this tired," Torumaru said as he dragged Taiki into the Physics lab. "What the heck did you do that made you so tired!" he asked his friend who had collapsed on the desk next to him. Unfortunately Torumaru didn't get an answer to his question because Taiki was already out like a light on the cold lab desk, his hands folded with his head faced down on them, blocking the view of anyone in his sight.

The moment his phone started ringing the night before, Taiki had become completely distracted from his physics homework and by the time his international call had finished it was already 1 in the morning, a good 3 hours of talking. This however kept him from finishing the problems on his physics homework and he made sure he got them done before he slept.

Because of his failure to finish his homework relatively early, his morning awakeness had been off to a rough start.

"ehh… Ba-chan…. 5 more minutes…" Taiki muttered from under his arms.

"Taaaaikkkiiii! Wake up! Sensei won't be happy if you sleep through his class." Torumaru said shaking him furiously trying to wake him up.

"I'M UP! I'M UP!" Taiki jolted up wards just in time as the teacher walked into the class and the other students took their seats.

    ______________________________________________________________

A black scene faded into a grassy field of twenty two young seven year old kids running around kicking a soccer ball on a bright sunny day. One team wore light blue shorts and t-shirt with a while line that ran vertically from the top of the shirt to the bottom of the left side of the shorts. An emblem on the right hand corner of the shirt read "OAE" short for Ouran Academy Elementary. The team they faced wore a forest green uniform.

Two boys stood out amongst the rest of them. They looked… almost the same. Both wore the Ouran Academy Elementary Uniform and carried a pair of bright ocean blue eyes and spikey dark brown hair that fell straight down till under the ear with a topping of lighter brown highlights. The only difference you could tell between them was the goggles that perched atop their foreheads. One was blue, the other was red. Both goggled boys skilfully weaved between the defenders of the forest green team before passing to the forwards in their team.

"ANIKI!" The blue goggled twin yelled.

"TAIKI!" Yelled the red goggled one in the same amount of enthusiasm.

    "Taiki!"

    "Taiki!"

"Taiki!" Torumaru was trying to shake his partner awake. He had to wake him up before the teacher found out he had snoozed during worksheet Tuesdays.

"Taiki!" he whispered once more as he eyed the teacher coming closer.

He thought he was never going to wake Taiki who had almost started to drool on his desk when…

    WHACK

Taiki's head jolted up at the impact the book had created with the back of his head. Taiki who had completely woken up from the bruising feeling that was starting to form on his head, turned around to see a girl much older than he was holding a book in her hands. The girl didn't wore the regular Raimon Jr Uniform but instead wore a long black dress with sleeves that fell to her wrist which reminded him of how dark the sky would get on a winter's day back when he lived in Olivine City. One her hands she wore black gloves which were as dark as her dress each containing a shiny buckle on each glove. On top of her dress, a black leather jacket which looked good when she wore high heels. As Taiki had turned around he noticed her dark red eyes as red as her red lips which stood out from her pale skin and slim figure. Her hair tied up in a messy French bun stopped his from guessing how long her hair actually was.

"Who was she," Taiki thought slowly turned back around towards the front of the class his thoughts drifting back to the previous day

"She's a great artist." Seiko added

    "But she's like sixteen."

"And she's in half of my classes, all first year classes… and she's supposed to be in High School."

"But according to what some say, apparently for reasons she takes classes in different years."

"But no one really knows what!"

"But I reckon she'll be in some of your classes, so you don't have to keep wondering Taiki-kun."

"…well her name is Shizuka Amaterasu."

    "Shizuka Amaterasu."

    "Shizuka…Sempai?"

Taiki was tempted turn around again but seeing as his teacher was headed in their table's direction he decided he should really get back to work, trying to push the older girl to the back of his head.

    ______________________________________________________________

"You're lucky that Shizuka Sempai woke you up before Sensei Yoru found out you were sleeping in his class… you don't really want to get a detention on your second day here, especially from him," Torumaru said as the two walked to second period English.

    "Taiki-Kun! Over here!"

Taiki looked over to where the voice had been calling him and saw Hitomi and Renshii waving at him by the desks at the window. Taiki grinned as led Torumaru over to where Hitomi and Renshii were until suddenly he almost tripped over something.

"Woah…" he said as he Torumaru grabbed him before he fell. He looked at the ground to notice a foot that was purposely put up for someone to trip on.

"YOU ALMOST TRIPPED HIM SEYAMA!"Hitomi yelled with Renshii following and Torumaru and Taiki turned to look at the girl who had purposely tried to trip him. The girl was about the same height as Renshii who was slightly shorter than Hitomi. Her hair was tied loosely in pigtails were snowy white and wavy. Her glaring red eyes were as dark and red as Shizuka Sempai's eyes and red lips.

"oops... my bad," as said as she smiled slyly at Hitomi before she turned towards Taiki. "So you're the new "hotsauce" of class 1-A that everyone's talking about" She grimaced at him.

"If you didn't know already, I'm Seyama, Seyama Shime, and you my minion have entered my kingdom," she stated smugly.

"ummm… you mean English class?" Taiki replied with a look of obviousness in his eyes.

"KINGDOM," She repeated. "Besides the point, I hear you're a soccer player… though with your looks I bet that's just all talk,"

Taiki's fists clenched by his sides and he grinded his teeth while Hitomi, Renshii, Torumaru beside him was looked ready to lunge at Seyama who had folded her arms and continued to look smugly at the three.

"That's enough Seyama," another firm voice said from behind them.

The group turned around to see a taller girl approach them. She wore the raimon boy's uniform rather than the girls and shoulder length black hair tied up only letting her bangs fall on her face, the left side of her bangs longer than her right was covering her left eye. An eye patch was visible under the bangs that covered her left eye while her right eye gleamed a beautiful shinning gold stood out from her pale skin.

"It's not nice to say that to any new student who enters Raimon," she stared at the Seyama who huffed and left to go sit at her desk at the front of the class.

The girl turned around and looked down at her new classmate, "I hope Seyama didn't cause you too much trouble, don't mind her she's always like that," she smiled as she held out her hand. "I'm Renaku Valentine, but call me Ren. You're Taiki right? Endou said your joining the first year development team"

"Yeah that's me, please to meet you Ren," Taiki said firmly shaking the taller girl's hand.

"Ren here is the Captain of the junior development team, she's a full time forward of the team but she also plays midfield," Hitomi explained.

"What's the development team?" Taiki asked confused.

"Well you see, the development team is a team built on the best first and second years… and when the third years graduate at the end of this year, we'll be placed on the main team." Hitomi explained

"That and we also challenge other school's development team in a different tournament from the Football Frontier called Holy Road and we play against other school's development teams." Renshii added.

Ren laughed at the two other excited girls, "Well they pretty much have the basics covered, but Endou and Kidou will explain it to you more in depth during lunch.. erm.. your having Lunch with Torumaru again aren't you?"

Taiki looked at Torumaru who nodded and Taiki smiled at him. "Yeah I am."

"Oh well, practise is after school so we'll talk more there as well," she waved as she sat back at her desk two rows back as the teacher came it.

Chapter 6: First Practise! SAKKA YAROUZE!

Another tiring day at Raimon Junior High had finished and students were scattering out of the campus on their way home. Though unlike them, a certain few stayed back for soccer practice.

"Are you sure you'll be ok?" Torumaru said to Taiki as they were in the locker room, Torumaru getting his satchel ready to go home.

"Don't worry, Hitomi and Renshii said they get me to meet everyone one the team," Taiki said as he grabbed his soccer gear as they walked outside.

"Ok, so I'll see you tomorrow then?" Torumaru waved one more time at Taiki before he left in the direction of the café.

    "You ready to go, Taiki-kun?"

He turned around to see Hitomi and Renshii standing behind him and went to walk with them to the soccer field.

Once again the whole gang minus the first year development team were eating their lunch on the rooftop.

"So basically…" Hiroto said his mouth half full of a sandwich as he went to sum up everything Kidou had just told him. "Holy Road is basically a tournament like the Football Frontier but it's basis is on each school's development team."

At that same moment, Midorikawa who was sitting beside Hiroto, started midway choking on his sandwich and Haruna rushed over to help him by patting his back. At the corner of his eye, Taiki saw Fudou glare at the back of Midorikawa's head and blushed a light shade of pink at the sight of Haruna helping him before looking down at his food. He heard Tachimukai ask him if he was alright but Fudou shrug him off.

"Anyway Taiki…" Torumaru interrupted his train of thoughts, "I'm pretty sure you'll get along well from the guys at the development team."

"Just remember you practise with us one Mondays and the development team every Tuesday and Thursday and you have goalkeeper training with Endou, Tachumukai and Genda after every Tuesday practices." Kidou reminded him as he, Endou and Gouenji left early for the test they had the next period.

"Fudou-sempai, a-are you ok," Haruna asked the Mohawk boy who was still looking down at his food blushing.

"Are you sure you don't have a fever? You look hot on the face," She said as she bent down to feel his forehead and with that action he grew even more red.

"I'm fine Haruna, don't worry about me," Fudou said softly to her as he took her hand and his and led her down from the roof and to the busy halls.

Torumaru thanked his lucky stars that Kidou had left earlier… to be honest he didn't know what Kidou would do or say.

"Let's go Taiki, we're gonna be late for class," he said as both of them ran to catch up with the others who had already left downstairs.

As the three of them approached the field, Taiki could see a group of kids around his age standing on the field.

"Looks like everyone is there already there," Hitomi said as saw the other kids already on the field.

"Seeeee this is why you don't take too long talking to everyone in the locker room when you know you have soccer practise," Renshii laughed at her best friend who poked her tongue out in response.

"HEY CAPTAIN, MINNA!" Renshii and Hitomi yelled out to Ren as they came closer to the team.

As they heard the two calling they all turned around and waved at the two while eyeing Taiki who had once again hid behind his two new friends.

"Hey guys! Hey Taiki!" Ren smiled as she saw him.

"Minna, this is Kazuo Taiki, he transferred to Raimon yesterday and he's our new goalkeeper," Ren introduced him to the team who all grinned knowing they had a new goalkeeper to protect their goal.

"H-h-hi," Taiki said to the team. He looked around the members of the team before realising he had seen a few of them before. A lot of them were in his class but he had only seen them or talked only once with them.

Ren turned towards the team and spoke up once more, "Guys introduce yourselves!"

He watched as a girl who was about the same height as Renshii stepped forward. Her charcoal black wavy hair tied loosely in a bright red ribbon.

"Azumi, Haruka, I'm a manger here, Nice to see you again Taiki-kun"

"Maaaannnn, why did Maiko take all the flour," Torumaru whined as he eyed the pair beside them as the class was making cookies in Food Technology.

Taiki frowned at Torumaru knowing that flour was an essential part in making chocolate chip cookies and now that the other group had taken the flour… well they were one ingredient short.

"Taiki, mind going into the pantry and getting a bag of flour," he said as he went to go melt the butter in the microwave,"

"Kay, got it," Taiki said as he left for the pantry.

As he reached the door he noticed a girl, black hair tied loosely is a red ribbon trying to reach for the chocolate chips on the top shelf and noticed how she was too short to get it.

He reached up easily and handed it over to her, "Here you go" Taiki said as he handed it to her and went to get the flour before they both left the pantry

"T-thanks," she said, and she left to go back to her cooking partner.

"What took you so long?" Torumaru questioned him as Taiki got back to their cooking bench.

"Azumi, Haruka," Taiki thought as he smiled back at her.

"Woo, Fujiko, you already know me though"

Erm… Taiki looked at the board still unsure of what he had to do. Torumaru who sat on the other side of the class seemed to be sucked into his pile of trigonometry equations which he looked like he found pretty easy. For Taiki algebra was his strong point, not Trig.

    "Taiki-kun are you ok?"

"erm…" He stared at the girl.

"Look here's how to do it," the girl said to him as she started to explain how to work out the equation.

"AHH so THAT's how you do it," Taiki said a little too loud once he understood what he had to do and the whole class turned to look at them hearing Taiki's loud voice.

"Kazuo, Woo, it is not lunchtime! Save your gossip for out of class," their maths teacher told them off.

"Sumimasen Deshita" both apologized to the teacher.

    Taiki grinned at her.

"Fujisaki Mimiru, I'm also a manager… and sorry I ran into you before" she said as she rubbed the back of her head sheepishly

"So do you guys eat on the rooftop every lunch time?" Taiki asked as he and Torumaru made their way through the hallways to get to the roof.

"Yeah, ya know I'm eventually gonna get tired sitting on that roof if we do it every day," Torumaru laughed his head lent against his arm which were folded against his back and Taiki laughed along to his last statement.

Suddenly a loud thumping was heard and a cloud of dust was appearing very quickly at the other end of the hall.

"Brace yourselves," Torumaru muttered before stepping to the side of the hall.

    "GAAZZZEELLLEE-SAAMMA" they heard someone yell.

"Wha-" Taiki didn't have any time to finish the sentence before a girl running at the speed of light collided into him.

"Gomen, Gomen, gotta run Gazelle Sama is over there!" Her eyes sparkling with excitement as she stood up and continued to run.

Gazelle who had been at the other end of the hall, inwardly thanked Taiki for being there and giving him time to run, sped of down the stairs in the other direction. "erm… I think I'll go the long way to class, see you guys there," he muttered to Hiroto, Midorikawa and Burn who were with him.

Burn laughed at his rival's sudden panic, "Haha annoying girl strikes again,"

And with that Hiroto hit in the head again with his English book.

"GRAN!" Burn yelled at him as Midorikawa stifled out a laugh, "AND OUT OF ALL THE BOOKS TO HIT ME WITH YOU CHOOSE MACBETH! EVEN THAT TRIG BOOK WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER"

Hiroto smirked at Burn, "Come on Burn, someone needs a variety."

Taiki laughed at the thought of that memory until he heard a voice from behind him.

    "We meet again my minion,"

Taiki's eyebrow twitched and he frowned before turning to face Seyama, "What...are...you...doing...here?" Taiki slowly questioned her.

"Good question my minion, I am myself am THEE Manager of Raimon's Development team." She smirked proudly at herself.

"Thee manager you say…" Shizuka said to Seyama as she stood behind her.

"umm..I-I I mean I'm one o-of the managers," she said to Shizuka and scampered out of the way before she could ask her any more questions.

"Shizuka-sempai plays forward in the development team," Hitomi whispered to Taiki before the rest of the team started introducing themselves.

    ______________________________________________________________

Practise started with the team kicking at the goal, Taiki protecting it. Like Torumaru, none could get past Taiki's strategic blocks and were glad they had a strong goalkeeper on their team. Now practise had moved on to a small game Taiki on the other hand had used this time to learn the names of his fellow team mates and managers. He already knew that Azumi, Fujisaki, Hitomi and Seyama were all Managers and Hitomi was also a player with Renshii and Shizuka but he was still picking up the names of his other team mates he hadn't seen before.

"HONDA! OVER HERE!" a tall forward he recalled as Ryota Sawamura yelled to the libero who was dribbling to all.

Sawamura was a tall second year student with messy hair that fell slightly higher than his shoulders. He had a slightly cocky attitude but was also quite friendly and had a strong sense of determination with it came to winning.

The boy he passed to smirked before skilfully passing it to Sawamura. The Libero was a slightly shorter boy who went by the name of Honda Goro. He had the heart of gold but has also had a slight edge of cockiness. He had short black hair which came down below the ears and spiked at the top. Sawamura dribbled the ball towards the goal Taiki was defending before he stopped by a small defender slightly taller than the size of Kougre.

"Don't think I'll let you pass that easily Sawamura-kun," he said as he charged towards the taller forward. Despite his size, Komori Daisuke was a very talented defender. His black hair covering his flat head and his small eyes watching the ball coming towards him.

"VOLT BREAK" he yelled as he let of a thunderous lightning bolt at Sawamura, stealing the ball away and passing it to the midfielder up ahead.

    "TOSHIYA-KUN!"

Sato Toshiya, a boy with darker blue hair and height about the same size as Honda caught the ball before dribbling back up the field. He was also the team's backup goalkeeper but mainly kept to playing midfield.

From what Taiki had learnt the four boys played soccer together in the winter season and baseball in the summer. Each of them had known each other from elementary school and were pretty good friends. All four of them were in their second year at Raimon,.

"RYUU-SEMPAI!" He yelled at a second year forward.

Takio Ryuu was a strawberry blond first year in the class next to Taiki and was also in his Food Tech class working with his partner on the table on Taiki and Torumaru's right (Even though he was a second year, he shared the same class as both of them). He had a really giddy and optimistic personality. He also had an obsession with eating cakes and sweets, and his "cuteness" was what attracted the girls. Although he looked the size of a second year elementary school student he was actually the oldest on the team.

"THAAANKS TOSHI-CHAN!" Ryuu said as he kicked the ball into the net.

    "USA-CHAN KICK!"

Taiki watched as the other end of the field as the five boys high fived and congratulated each other on a good play. The girls were already on the benches taking a break as they watch the boys scrimmage.

He took the time to summarize his team.

"So Hitomi is a manager but also a player, Shizuka-sempai, Sawamura-sempai and Takio-sempai are all forwards, Renshii, Toshiyo-sempai are Midfielders and so is Captain but she's a forward too, Honda is a Libero, Komori is a Defender and I'm the goalkeeper." Taiki thought aloud

"Yeah pretty much, but not everyone is here." He heard a chirpy voice from behind him. "Our defence was pretty weak today seeing as it was only Komori"

    "Takio-sempai," he turned around

"Ne, call me Ryuu Tai-chan," he grinned at Taiki, "Takio-sempai is what they call my nii-chan"

"MINNA!" Ren yelled as the rest of the team gathered round to their captain

Taiki and Ryuu ran towards the rest of the team and stood beside Honda and Sawamura.

"Our first team has been decided," Ren announced

    "It's Kidokawa"
