Inbreeding

Just so you are aware, this area is meant for in-depth and serious discussions, not funny pictures.

Eh, I can't see the appeal. Personally I would prefer to just not be apart of the discussion. However, there is one thought I'd like to give.

Real Talk: When I look at the supposed 'effects' of inbreeding it honestly looks like a bunch of lies made up to force morality on people. Because y'know, there's a precedent for that. We did the same thing to homosexuals. Remember the 'link' between homosexuality and aids? Yeah... Lying is a thing we do. The reason I suspect this is that I'm pretty sure there's no actual, respectable science to back it all up. No large studies, no particularly compelling theories, just rhetoric and pseudo science.

Now, I get that people care about what other people do in the privacy of their own home--especially when the topic is inbreeding. I can definitely see why in some cases; to my knowledge inbreeding frequently involves statuary rape, which doesn't exactly inspire tolerance. I do take issue with the spread of lies and misinformation though, which is why I feel the need to address the topic at all. I feel that opening the discussion with strong rhetoric makes it rather difficult for the opposing side of the discussion to get a word in edgewise, which is a little counter productive when the goal is a healthy discussion.
