[Scripting Question] Increasing a Global Metadata Variable upon Mega Evolution

    So, I want to make a Global Metadata Variable that increases in value whenever the player mega evolves their pokemon and I want to know how to do so. To elaborate it further, basically whenever in battle, you mega evolve your pokemon, after the text "{Pokemon} has mega evolved into Mega {Pokemon}" appears and it is the pokemon that mega evolved belongs to the player, the variable increases by one and if possible, make some text appear displaying the value in the variable. The Global Metadata Variable name for me is "mgenergy".
     
    Just set a Game Switch to true in def pbMegaEvolve
