Okay, just here for a question.
So usually, you can only have 4 different types of effectiveness: 0x, 0.5x, 1x and 2x. They all sport their own different battle messages as well: It has no effect, It's not very effective bla bla.
Say I wanted to make a 3x effectivness. Now I tested it, it does work, however, I want to make a new message for it.
So I looked at the tutorial about battle messages and I realise that obviously this would require some ASM. Maybe someone could point me to a routine that maybe sorts what message should appear according to what effectiveness the type-match up is.
