    Have anyone else had any experiences like this? Just wondering.

    Today I was (well, I am now) walking the road to the cave in Diamond that has Gible in it (just because Garchomp is awesome imo) and I run into two friggin Bronzors. But what do I run into after it? The first wild Stunky I see in the game. THE FIRST. And it was shiny. Red and shiiiny.. I didn't even use that Shiny-Hunting-Thingy that I can't remember the name of. Of course I caught it immediatly with a Quick Ball and I am going to train it to a Skuntank as soon as I get the chance. WOW, that was really awesome! That makes the 4th shiny i've seen (i've played Pokemon since I was 5. I'm now 13) and the 2nd one I have caught. :D

    Anyone here had any of these experiences before, just randomly running into a shiny without trying?

    I have never, ever run into a shiny in all of my years of playing Pokémon. XD Grats! That's awesome, even if it is a Stunky lol. :)
     
    I've never seen a shiny either. Ugh. I'm jealous.
     
    I've never caught a shiny on the 4th gen. Last shiny I caught was a golden magikarp while hunting for feebas in ruby.
     
    In Firered I started my game over. I was in Veridian Forest and I found a Shiny Caterpie. It was pure luck, and at first I didn't notice. xD
     
    Sorry to those who's never gotten a shiny - they are quite a nice change if you're bored of seeing the usual colors. Also, you can brag about it :cool:

    I've done a whole lot in Diamond today - A LOT!

    I've:
    Caught a shiny Stunky
    Caught Cresselia (with a Master Ball though, I didn't have the patience that I had while trying to catch Mesprit in a Quick Ball lols)
    Caught Heatran (getting to that frigging mountain is a pain in the ass if you don't know how.. I was wandering around somewhere else)
    Caught Giratina (which is awesome, took me like three tries though as I kept accidentally fainting it with Azelf :P)

    Congrats, I found a shiny Zubat the other day. Shame he's not awesome :(
     
    In my opinion thsi covers the games in general, so I'll gently nudge it towards the more suitable location.

    Awww, Horizon, now it's my problem. D<

    Although this is a better forum for this, it doesn't need it's own thread. There's plenty of shiny threads and there's a recent happenings thread here. And since this was in Diamond, there's a journey journal in the DPPt section. But this one little thing doesn't deserve a thread, sorry. Congrats, though! ^_^
