Actually, ash is full of bs... he gets rid of his strongest pokemon, and keeps the weakest (yes, charizard will pwn Pikachu anyday!! Rockslide/EQ pikachu away!!)

Charizard is areal good pokemon in battles because His a Flying/Fire Pokemon.
nd Infernape is almost good with his Fire/Fighting type

For battles yes, but certainly not for contests. They're pretty much the some of the much stronger Pokemon in battling right now. With Infernape dominating the D/P Fire Pokemon, xD as there really only are like 5.

Well, they both have a good movepool to be good for both contests, and battles. But i've used charizard for Tough Contest, He didnt lose once (oh wait, he had to try twice for the Master rank thing)
