    do you interested with second-run with this game ?

    for me i will totally end up playing this game 4 times just because i love this game freaking much (i already beat both japanese hg & ss....now waiting for the english version of the game ;D)

    .....just for fun of it,really.... X3
     
    Yeah! I want to have beat HGSS like 200 times! I love using different teams each time!
     
    I'm going to buy both Versions just for that reason, to beat it multiple times, one will be my main file, one will be my restart file.

    Hey, thanks for the idea! I'm gonna buy both now, just to use one as a re-run file.
     
    I've always had the tendency to make multiple re-runs in all my games. I have no doubt in my mind that HeartGold and SoulSilver will be no exception. I enjoy training new Pokémon each time I restart my adventure and each time trying out something new or learning something I might have missed before in my previous run through.

    Having both versions is just a bonus to it, as at least I won't lose any valuable Pokémon needed. However, early access to trading with DPPt helps with this problem so it isn't as if I needed both versions to keep playing through HG/SS. XD; Regardless, I figure I might end up playing through these games at list 5-6 times probably. By then, I'll be pretty into it from where I am, not wanting to restart the game.
     
    I think i will not do re-runs this time around, a first for me. This is because I will be hunting for the right natures, genders, and abilities and finding a Snubbull, Male, Intimidate, Adamant at 1% rarity is no joke... I will probably breed though.
     
    Honestly I think after I beat this game, I will spend the rest of my time on it trading over all my old pokemon from Diamond, and Platinum, and Leafgreen. Then I will work on collecting every pokemon.
     
    I'm just gonna keep my first file on Soul Silver, and then eventually buy Heart Gold for replays. This is what I do with most my Pokemon games.
     
    This is why I want both versions of the game, I like been able to replay the games without losing my Pokémon.
     
    I think I'll worry about taking my time playing it for the first time to get the full experience then later on down the road buy HG for a restart file where I can do stuff and screw around and keep my main file on SS.
     
    I've never done that unless someone wrote over my save file. I may, I don't know. I always hate to restart after I've put so much work into something.
     
    I'm playing through the game a first time like I always do, then when it's my brother's birthday (in a month or so; I'm getting him SoulSilver), I'll restart my game and train a pre-bred team competitively with tons of strategies.
     
    If I want to do another run through after finishing HeartGold, I'll probably just go get SoulSilver. That way I get a little variety and some different Pokemon. I did that with Diamond and got Platinum later on.
