    Hello, hopped on to the forum so I could ask more specific questions. Currently making a small game for my girlfriend, any help would be appreciated.

    Growlithe is best pokemon, that is all.

    I assume you mean a fan-game and not a ROM Hack, in which case you'll want to check out the Game Dev section for help. You'll be able to find tutorials there, as well as a thread where you'll be able to recruit people.

    I'm currently working on a game myself so you can feel free to ask me most questions - I don't have much knowledge of RGSS scripting at the moment, though I am learning - but everything else I'll do my best to answer.

    Have fun here! I do hope you'll stick around past the completion of the game if you enjoy your time here - this place has a lot more to it than just game dev, and you may discover some new interests. In any case, good luck and have fun. :)
     
    That's insanely cute and I'm happy for your girlfriend. Hope she'll enjoy the game you make for her -- we have a lot of resources to make use of and I wish you lots of luck. How's your progress going so far?

    Thanks for the warm welcome guys, updated my profile a bit more since this forum seems cool.

    So far I'm still learning how to use Essentials really. I don't have too much experience with Ruby but gradually figuring a few things out here and there.
