IPS Patch.. Huh?

Uhh, hi, this is my first post here and I have a question that I need help with.

I need to know how to get my own personal ROM hack onto my PSP (GBA Emulator). I've tried just straight putting on the Memory Stick, but it won't show up. Then I read around, and found out that I need to patch the hack with the original ROM (Pokemon Emerald).

But, I have no idea how to go about this. Can someone please help me? I'd really like to try out my hacked ROM on my PSP.

Heya, you're fortuante that a ROM hacker considering jumping ship after his red hack was just passing by checking out the Game Dev section. You need to get a hold of Snestool https://www.zophar.net/utilities/transutil2/snestool.html

It's a DOS application that can patch IPS patches to ROMs, all you do is load Snestool(make sure the executable is in the same directory as your ROM and patch), then select 'Use IPS Patch' select the patch in the file list, then select the Emerald ROM, it will then do it's businesses, now press 'Q' to quit, and you're done!
