4th Gen Is anyone completely satisfied?

    It seems like everyone is pissed off about something. Whether it be the new tiles, 4th gen evolutions of 2nd gen Pokémon, or some other BS, I feel like everyone is complaining.

    People keep saying "They're changing things. It's not going to be exactly like Gold and Silver!" Well if you want to play something that's EXACTLY like Gold and Silver, then play Gold and Silver...

    At the same time, people are saying "Kanto better not suck again!" and "We better get Houndour/Slugma/etc. before the E4!"

    I would like to say that I am 100% happy with whatever Nintendo gives us. I don't care what they change. I don't care what they take out. I don't care what they leave in. We're getting a new Pokémon game, and that's more than enough for me. Who else feels this way?
     
    I don't think anyone's ever gonna be truly 100% happy about everything...obviously it isn't gonna be a perfect game, but no game is ever gonna be "perfect" and it's impossible to please everyone. I think for the most part people are just happy that we're getting a remake, and even though we might complain about a few small things or hope for a few changes, overall most of us are gonna be pleased with the game.

    Exactly, not everyone will be happy about everything in the remake, the same for every other game. Though, I do feel that people should at least be satisfied enough to know they're getting the remake after waiting so long. So far for me, I like the new additions and am perfectly fine with what we've seen so far...
     
    I dont know yet. I like chaange but not at first. The games were so unique that I dont want them to change too much
     
    I'm a fan of the whole 2nd Generation itself, not just the games themselves, but the Pokemon, mechanics, and the Metagame.

    I'd get a Unopened Japanese Gold and Silver over HG/SS any day, but I am glad that they're remaking the games.

    I'll never like the remakes as much as the originals, but so far, things are looking really good.

    Even though I know there will be differences, some minor, some major, I'm dead-set on Preordering both Version in Japanese AND English U.U
     
    That's why they call it a remake, if it was gonna be exactly the same, it would be called a re-release.
     
    That girl with the lulzey hat ruined the remakes for me :(
    They will have to put something better than Crystal to make me play the game...

    Ok, I wasn't SO serious. But really, she is lame when you compare her with Crystal.

    I'll miss you Crys...
     
    Yeah, I've seen people that have been complaining about HeartGold and SoulSilver, and it's really bugging me. C'mon! Be glad, Nintendo could've made another game in Sinnoh, that starred Skymin/Shaymin, as if we weren't tired of Sinnoh yet! Honestly, I'm so greatful for this remake, I don't care what they change, if you're a true fan of Gold and Silver, you'll love this game anyway, cause it's based off gold and Silver.. Ungreatful people these days. But there are still people appreciate this, which is awesome. :)
     
    I'm about 1% happy, with that 1 being the fact that they're making a GS remake. They've already ruined it, though. No Kris...no bike..new bark town's theme is slow...so many things. Maybe I'm being too critical, but I was hoping for a remake that was more accurate to the originals.

    Well, I'm pretty much satisfied (besides.....), but there are things they could've improved on/done without.
    But that belongs in the respective topics so I won't touch on them. But still,

    I think it's too early to tell just how bad or good these games will be. But from what I see, it gets me incredibly excited. I don't care a lot about the look of the female character, or about the regeneration of Kanto. As long as it's like Gold and Silver in some way, I'll be happy.

    @Master Z: Don't let one song ruin the game for you. And who said anything about no bike? No Goldenrod images have been release yet, and I don't see any kind of bike replacement either.
